I have a silver marten rabbit named Charlie Brown and he is so sweet. He is 12 months old and loves to be petted and kissed. Charlie is very timid with strangers (He wouldn't go near me for the first two weeks!) but really is so loveable. The first time I saw him I knew that we should get him!

HI, I HAVE A SILVER MARTEN RABBIT THAT I GOT AT MY LOCAL PET STORE. HE'S STILL VERY YOUNG AT ONLY ABOUT 10 MONTHS BUT HE'S THE SWEETEST THING EVER. HE LOVES TO HOP AND PLAY AND HE IS ALWAYS DISCOVERING NEW WAYS TO GET INTO TROUBLE. HE'S VERY UNIQUE BECAUSE HE'D RATHER BE PETTED ON THE HEAD AND CUDDLED THAN HOPPING. IF HE'S ON THE GROUND AND I'M ON THE COUCH HE'LL JUMP ONTO THE COUCH SO HE CAN SIT IN YOUR LAP AND GET PETTED. HE'S THE SWEETEST THING AND I LOVE HIM VERY MUCH!

I have a silver marten rabbit named Jippy! He is my best friend and i'd do anything for him... like for example, pay a thousand dollar vet bill to save his life!!! =) Jippy has been with the family for four years... and still going on strong. Jippy loves to hop all over the yard, eat apples and bananas, dig holes where ever he can, crawl and hide under my bed, and get into trouble with my mom by getting in her garden. My mom gets angry most when Jippy eats her flowers... but she cant stay mad at Jippy cause he is just too darn cute. I love when he twitches his ears and gives you that, "it's not my fault" kind of look =)He has a lot of personality... the greatest rabbit alive!!! Jippy is part of my family and I am proud to say that he is my special companion.

My silver marten rabbit(mrs rooney). has given birth to 5 sweet adorable rabbits. and my other silver marten rabbit (poppy) may be pregnant. the male is wild. as they got out of their hutch one night and the wild one came. so some of them are black others are light brown. i found that my rabbits are very playful and love to run and dig. so we decided to make a big hutch. they love it as it is so big, its my old wendy house. with an outside appartment, where they have a sand pile to dig in! they also get more exercise as they run around. and i can spend time with them in the hutch, so the babies will enjoy the adventure playground to!

I'm sophie, i'm 13, i have 4 rabbits and am planning to breed my black lop-eared doe with my friends dwarf silver marten rabbit. I have bred rabbits before and used to have 16 before i sold 6 of them and six died of liver damage from parasites ( garden was waterlogged and parasites grew in the water(couldn't be helped.)). Anyway a fellow rabbit breeder told me that apparently dwarfs and normal sized rabbits make the perfect sized rabbit ( which is a matter of opinion really) so me and my friend are giving it a try. Rocket one of my does gave birth to 14 bunnies in total but her 'mate' was killed off by parasites so we are breeding her daughter jackie with Minstral my friends rabbit. We both love rabbits my friend and me, its all we talk about!!! And the babies will be well catered for by both of us as we are mad about them. They are so cute!!!!

We bought our bunny at a pet store, and according to them, he was a Netherland Dwarf. However, as we researched more about that species, and as we found this website. we realized that he was really a silver marten. My husband and I love our bunny. He is gorgeous.

As a 4-H project, I purchased a 6-month old female Dwarf/Lop cross. Soon, however it became apparent that I had a male Silver Marten. I loved him at sight. He hated me, and bit me every time I picked him up.
As show day approached, I became very nervous. However, when I placed him on the judging table, he seemed to want to show off. We ended up winning Champion Showmanship and, finally, Grand Champion. After we were done, the judge pulled me aside and told me that my rabbit had the beginning signs of malloclusion. I started to cry.
Aiedaile is still with me. I would never consider another breed of rabbit. Silver Martens are THE BEST RABBITS AVAILABLE! I love Aiedaile's coat, ears, even his teeth( which are clipped every month). But most of all, I love his spirit.
