I just got a New Zealand Rabbit for easter and she's great! Her name is Lacey. She's only about 8 weeks old and is the most lovable pet I have. She loves to sit on my lap and cuddle. I named her Lacey because of her soft coat. I'm hoping to show her in 4-H one day.

My bunnys name is rubarb (ruby) for short. And I got her to show in 4-h, I got her from the local murdocs. She was the last rabbit in the whole store. She was soo lonely. And my last rabbit died just yesterday, and I felt that she was with me.

I have this brown rabbit, his name is Gremlin. He clearly is not a New Zealand, as he hates being handled, in fact I have acquired new evidence of this on my left wrist. He does not bite but boy oh boy does he scratch. He was originally my daughter's bunny, but she was not allowed to keep him at the house she was living in, so I kinda inherited him. He is adorable, each time I go into the room where he stays he runs up to me, bumps me with his nose and some times will stand on his hind legs to sniff my jeans.

I have had many NZ rabbits in my past, since I used to show rabbits in 4-H. I did very well and had many trophies, but most of all, I just loved my New Zealands! My very first was named Berry, he was not showable because he was from a pet store, but he was the sweetest thing. My next and most memorable New Zealand was named Zorro. Zorro was my favorite animal in the whole world. First thing I would do when I came home from school with my friends would be to bring Zorro out of his cage and play with him on a towel. He loved being flipped over on his back, he was so relaxed and would love being pet on his belly. I especially enjoyed his cute little nudges and licks. He had an unshowable body type, but I loved his low shoulders and elongated body (I know, not very "ideal" but still cute :D). Zorro was a little "excited" though if you know what I mean, he always made a mess on the grooming table o_O. I miss him so dearly! I also had other New Zealands like Philo(a shy, muscular, little fellow, that was good at show), Papaya (an amazing show rabbit! though a little cranky), Gladyce (named after my great grandma though she was nothing like her! this rabbit was so mean [always snipping and such], but i did have some heart to heart with her when she sat nicely on my great grandma's lap :D), and some others that took a lot of time and hard work to take care of. New Zealands were truly a passion to me, and I am definitely going to get another one since they are so wonderful! (definitely getting a male though!) GET ONE!!

Hello, my name is Ashley and I have 4 rabbits. Only one is litter trained and that is my new zeland rabbit named rambo. We love him, he is one of the best I ever had. He has a very good temperment. He got his name rambo because he is known for his ways of escaping. And he does have an attitude sometimes. My other rabbits are mini rex's. They are adorable, but not nearly as outgoing as Rambo. I think he is a mix though because he has one floppy ear, and the other stands right up. I dont know what would cause that though.

I just got a NZ about 3 weeks ago. Considering what they are bred for, I am quite pleased with mine. Her name is Asa, and she is quite amazing. I have never had rabbits, and I am shocked at how affectionate she is and how good she is with people. I know she will get quite large, but she has a personality I never expected. I am glad I got her, instead of a typical "pet" rabbit. I also have a Lionhead dwarf, and even though she is great as a pet as well, she is not quite as bonded to me as Asa.

We have had many rabbits in the past but our NZ Ollie seems to have the best attitude and the sweetest personality out of all of them. He has the free run of our house most of the day and knows to go to his cage to "do his business". He loves to cuddle while we watch tv at night and does really well with our 2 sons. I think he especially loves his veggies that we give him every night before he goes back into his cage for bedtime. Anyhow, my point is, if youre wanting a rabbit and cant decide what breed, NZ rabbits are the way to go!

I have a white new zealand named casper. He is the best rabbit. He's potty trained and very well house trained. I can never seem to keep him away from cords. I wouldn't trade him for the world!

I have a full grown albino bunnie. His name is crumb. He loves going to the motocross track. I brought him to the vet and I got him dyed pink! He follows me everywhere, he even wears a harness and walks on a leash.

I LOVE my NZ rabbits! They are so sweet and they follow me around whereever I go. They are both potty-trained, too!
