Hi guys, this is a very cool site!! I have got a 2nd rabbit since my girl girl died last December :< Her name is Miw Miw & according to the store assistant, shes NZ, and was there for about 2weeks. Well, I guess she might a month+ old. But..compared to all the breeds here, I am wondering is she really a NZ? Haha... she has short ears and a bit fluffy coat, as she's still a baby girl.. I'm not sure if her coat will be long or short!

She's really cute and small, after she marked her territory, she started to pee and poop near to her food. Hope she will be trained to do her business on the litter soon when we have it. Though we not sure how. Now we put her in a picnic basket and let her out at balcony and toilet in the evening. Not dare to let her run freely at home because she will hide in a corner and bite those wires, or might fall down from the balcony (we live in condo with housemate). And girl girl was really smart and like to be with us after she made a full run in the house:> and go to toilet herself in the corner of her cage. After a long time of having her, she will go back her cage herself.. :>

Hey! I wanted to know if anyone else has a harness and leash for their little bun. :) 'Cuz I have one for my girl, Fuzz, and I like to take her on walks around the neighborhood! Don't you just love bunnies?! :)

I have a baby black New Z bunny and I was thinking about getting a harness the other day. I did not because I figured it would squeeze right out of it. Do you have that problem?

I recently got a New Zeland rabbit for my birthday. He is as sweet as they come! I have named him Nike for his love of running. I got him when was about 2 months old. He has brought so much joy to my life. I couldn't imagine it without him.
Nike is now about 5 months and I have noticed something. His right ear has begun to flop. Does anyone elses rabbit have an ear that flops. It doesn't do this all the time, just every once and a while. Should I be concerned?

Thank you for taking the time to read this,

When you pet your rabbit don't push his ears down. Make it a point to lift them when you pet/play with him. I had a judge tell me that because we had 2 does that had a flop ear and it has worked. He said by pushing the ears down when you pet them you are training the ears to flop. Both of our girls now have straight, upright ears.

I have a New Zealand white and her name is Kea. I've had her since Mar. 8. She was also the last bunny in the store. She is sweet and whoever passed her up is missing out. Dad named her after a Mountain in Hawaii called Mauna Kea or White Mountain. We call her our White Princess.

I have an albino new zealand rex also he is big but not huge. He is very active at night and likes to live under our basement steps. He is not fixed so he gets strange ideas about the queen that's me.

I have a 3 month old new zealand buck named Prince William Caterpillar (long story) who is a show rabbit and a pet. He is a great rabbit! He loves to play and cuddle! I recommend this rabbit to any age group. Just remember to allow your rabbit to have plenty of exercise as they gain weight rapidly.
