Hi, I've been researching possible pets for myself, and once I saw these rabbits I fell in love. I have researched and read about them for the last 2 months. I without a doubt want one, but I have no idea where to get one. I am willing to buy, but I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I am willing to drive an hour or two to get one. If anyone knows where they may be sold please let me know.

Hi im cindy, we just got a mini lop rabbit yesterday, but he seems to be frightened of us. Any tips to make him more comfortable around us? Shall we care him round for him to get used to us? Cindy

Hey. I've had my mini for over 4 years, she was the same way at first. Go slow...don't force her to come out from hiding. Lay on the floor on her level and just spend time being with her and speak to her in a soft calming voice. I gave my bun a sliver of apple as I called her name (make sure there are no seeds...can kill a bun) I won her over, but it took time and patience. She and I are now best friends and she loves me tons. Good Luck, Nikki

I found my mini lop rabbit (bugs)on the street. I almost hit him with my car, so I picked him up and brought him back to my house, and bought all the new stuff for him. He gets scared very easy when you approach him. He loves hanging out under my bed he never comes out :P lol. Any advice would be awesome!

Hi! It's me Cathy, I have more news on Bugsie my mini lop which I posted about yesterday! He's tamed soo much already and he lets me hold him happily now, we've also been getting him used to a harness so we can take him for walks on an extendable dog lead I have. Today we put the lead on but we thought that the harness was a bit slack so we just let him hop round the run with it so he could get used to the feel of it. If you get a rabbit you should really get a run made or buy one if you can, because Bugs gets very sad when he's not allowed in his run because my cat is out. Bugs has a great personality because today when he was in the run the cat got out and started stalking up towards him and getting ready to pounce. So I went out, but then our dog got out and ran at him. Hhe quickly ran into his hutch and hid in the night-time bit and I was very upset because I thought he'd be too scared to come out for a while afterwards. But as I got to the run and was just going in he went into the day-time part of his hutch and sprawled back down in the hay and went to sleep as if nothing had happened. These rabbits are amazing and obviously don't get bothered very easily, because my dog follows him round the outside of the run gazing intently and he doesn't notice. They also come to be very tame if brought up properly. I'm 12, 13 on 11th August so that proves that these rabbits are good around children because he hasn't laid a single patch of his fur on me in a nasty way. Sorry if I bored you, Cathy xxx

I have only had my mini lop for a little over a month now. His name is Patches. He is so pretty. I love him so very much, he is really friendly and he has gotten to where he really does not like anyone to hold him but me. He will however let other people pet him. He is also litter box trained so his cage stays so clean you never smell him. I absolutley recommend the mini lop to anyone who wants to own a rabbit.

Hi, yesterday I got my new mini lop Bugsie. He loves to be petted but he doesn't like being held and panics. It is going to take some time to get him used to being held but I don't mind. When I was cleaning the hutch out this morning he was following me and headbutting me it was so cute. I love Bugs sooo much Cathy x

I have a mini lop named Annabelle, but goes by Annie. She is fawn and white colored. She will be a year old in June. She is quite intelligent and so adorable. She can be a little stinker too though, reminds me a toddler sometimes. I love her to pieces though and she is my world.
