I have a rabbit refuge farm. I never had a holland lop until this past week. I usually get mini rex and dwarfs, etc. I give all the rabbits a personality test and friendability test before I find them new homes. This Holland lop is the smartest, sweetest and most affectionate rabbit I have ever had. I love her so much that I decided I am actually going to keep her. From all the breeds I have had in my farm, I would say that this one is the most affectionate and playful.

I have or had a Holland Lop rabbit named Floppsy because of his floppy ears that would bounce when he would chase me. He was my best friend and I loved him to pieces he died on July 14 2006 and I miss him like crazy. He was a blast and an enjoyable pet to have. He wasn't alot of work and I want to get another one soon. Holland Lop rabbits are great pet that will love and play with you.

My Bunny was the smartest, he would constantly get out of our backyard and run to the neighbours to eat their plants. He knew how to get out of his cage and he had the most bizare hidding spots and he liked to play hard to get. He died earlier this morning and I miss him like crazy. he would always rub around my legs and stand on his hind legs and paw at mine because he wanted me to hold him. He was the best and I would recommend a Holland lop rabbit to anyone. They are hilarious too. he would let a bird sit on his back and he would snuggle up to the baby bunnies that were breeding beside our fence. They are an awesome pet and a joy to have as a member of the family.

we have a very special bunny. he was given to me, the people did not want him anymore. we love him and we call him whisper. we got him a round ball type thing to put his veggies in, with a bell on the bottom. when he wants veggies he rings the bell. this is true, wish you could see him. he pushes the bell with his nose. chelsea

We have our first pair of bunnies, their names are butterscotch and praline. they were so easy to train to use litter box and love to be handled and play fetch. i recommend these beautiful loving critters to anyone who wants something smaller to love.

I got a Holland Lop for my birthday from my mom about a year ago. MAN IS HE SMART! He knows when to get out of his cage and when to go in. He sure likes Bananas! He'll even watch TV with me when my parents are in their room or something. I think he's a Blue Tortoise Shell. His name was Furball because of his curved back. Then one night when I was about ready to go to bed, he started to thup his feet on the ground. So, I named him after that one rabbit, Thumper!!

I just got my first holland lop 2 days ago(shes a rescue rabbit) 10 weeks old. my husband has named her Dewberry Lunchable (though barely a lunchable). Even though she is severely underweight and i can feel her bones right now, she is still so beautiful and sweet. I just hope she is always this loving. (if not, we are already used to aloof bunnies, our mix breed only wants touched when SHE commands it)

I had a wonderful mini-lop named Teddy. he lived for 7 years and was the best pet. The lops are very trainable. he was litter box trained and loved to run around the house and on the furniture! I miss him so much.

I had a wonderful Holland Lop named Bauldrick. He acted more like a dog than the actual dog! Whenever he got upstairs he would drink out of his water dish and lie with his feet sprawled out right infront of the fireplace ^__^. I loved him so much, R.I.P Bauldrick
