I found my Holland lop in a park. I brought it home to find it a home but I couldn't let this wonderful bunny go. Her name is snickers and she is the best rabbit I've ever had.

hey,
i have 3 rabbits
but 2 are holland lops. their names are stella and bun bun. bun bun is more active and likes to hop around and be loud. *smile* as for stella she is very quiet and cuddly. she likes to sit in your lap. *smile* i was just recently playing with them today. it's a lot of work. info: if you have a dog make sure it is outside or out of the room while you play with your bunnies because my dog [sara] is a beagle and beagles are hunting dogs. rabbits are their number one target. my cats [muffin & puffin] are usually in my room with my door closed but be careful about cats too. my last cat is kitty who is an outside cat so she likes to watch the bunnies through the door. thanks for all this info and here is some for you; be careful with your bunnies but have fun!

I just got my little Holland Lop-eared rabbit not to long ago, he was only 5 weeks when I got him and boy does he love attention. It took me several trys to find the perfect name for him and I found the perfect one, Coco. my friend took his brother [Hollister], so they still visit each other and they love seeing each other. they run up to each other then when we let ours out together, hers follows mine EVERYWHERE! She and I spoil them and love them so much, they are finally 6 weeks old today and their birthday is July 14. THEY ARE BOTH THE CUTEST THINGS!

Yesterday I introduced my new Holland Lop to my family, but it might be sick so I have to make a decision whether to keep it or return it. I am so excited about finally having my first healthy beautiful happy rabbit. And I still don't know what to name it yet. I think George or Sadie!

Darla, thank you so much for the suggestion of the treatment/prevention of hairballs. I will be sure to pick some up. I had a holland lop about 4 years ago. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 10 and I got him when he was 6 weeks old. He was adorable though! He was so playful and loved attention. He loved to hop and lay on the couch. He would jump onto the couch and lay his head on one of the little couch pillows. He was also very loyal and smart. When I first got him he somehow managed to pop his latched cage door open. So he would open the door and run into my room and jump on my bed and lay with me. He would also give me kisses by licking my nose. These rabbits are so much fun and they are just so cute! I love how Thumper used to raise his ears when he would hear something. Their ears just add so much character to them.

I recently adopted a gorgeous tortie Holland Lop from a friend's friend. What a nice temperament! I have another bunny, a Dwarf Hotot, but she's just not as comfortable around humans as this little guy is. He'll chase my cats around the house! Or run circles around me. Such a nice little sweetheart.

My Holland Lop's name is Socrates. He is playful and loveable. He gets along great with my golden retriever, and I was even able to train him to use the dog door! Socrates loves attention, he shows off his toy ball whenever guests are over.

My holland lop (Tunny) is the most docile and loveable bunny. He is quite tame and was startling easy to house-train.
