Stacy - 2004-01-13 Hi, I had a black and white dutch and he was the most friendly rabbit that I have ever met. He was very social and loved people and our dog very much. If you ever want a pet rabbit, definitely choose a dutch rabbit, a male if you can. They are much more friendly than the females. Mine lived to be 10 years old. They make fantastic pets!!
Danielle - 2006-01-25 hiya there. I have a light brown dutch rabbit ans she is so cute. She always licks me and my family and she licks my dads socks. She is so so so sweet. Her name is lady short for marmelade. She runs around my garden and when i come in from school she runs up to sniff me. Also, when my dad is in the garden gardening, Lady follows him around and once my dad was looking at what he had to do next and lady was sitting next to him looking as well and it was so so so so so cute. She has a black stripe going across her back, shes very different from the other dutch rabbits. She loves everyone!

Jeanie - 2013-01-11 We had a Dutch rabbit for over twelve years. His name was Snoopy and he was very friendly and sociable and loved to play. We used to take him outside and he loved the outdoors and the exercise. Never leave a bunny in their cage all the time because they need exercise and they need lots of love. He has been gone a year and a half and I still really miss him. He was the best pet we ever owned.

Kumquat - 2011-07-31 My 3 year old dutch rabbit Eddie just died! It was really sad, he was probably the nicest rabbit ever not to mention brave. He would love to be held and pet and he was great with kids. He would jump into my arms when I opened his cage and I would sometimes hand feed him cheetos. Just last year when I let him run in his pen in our back yard when I was gone a hawk came down and snatched him up. He was struggling and eventually fell, he had a giant gash on his neck and an ulcer on his eye everyone thought he wouldn't make it, even the doctors, but my Eddie made it! He died 7-21-11 from my plott hound Sophie who chased him in 100 degrees and he eventually had a heart attack :( I miss him! I also have another dutch Bonnie (black and white and 2 years old) Willow (tan and white less than a year) and willow has 4 babies Pancake, Squirt, Sugar, and Pippi (pip). A white lionhead named Maisy who has 3 babies which are a dutch and lionhead mix named Pepe, Romeo, and Humpfrey (is that how you spell it?).

Imogen - 2011-09-03 I'm very sorry to say your rabbit just died. Mine died in June and he was a really soft white rabbit called Peter. I'd had him since I was 6. I've had him a few years, more than half my life and he got cancer and we had to put him to sleep because he was in pain and suffering. We had some great times together-rabbits make great pets. Eddie sounds so nice-oh my gosh how awful! I miss my rabbit loads too, but I'm glad you have some more. Rabbits are amazing pets and I highly recommend them to everyone :)

They can eat and be messy, but they are made like that. They are great pets. If you have a bunny {Especially Dutch} you are an angel, and to your rabbit, you are a blessing.
