We have a beautiful 4 to 5 month old Holland Lop Bunny this is the best domesic bunny you can have they are wonderful with children and you can train them. Our Bunny is so lovable and loves to give kisses on demand and for no reason, at all she thinks she is a cat and loves to be held and will fall asleep on you for hours at a time. She is part of our family and we truly love her and do not regret the decision on getting her. She is also very easy to care for and is very clean and if you are allergic to cats you will not be allergic to her because I am highly allergic to cats and she does not bother me at all. Please think about getting a Holland Lop Bunny. You will be sooo Happy!!! :))))

I have a black Havana named BlackJack. We adopted him about month ago. He is not really a friendly rabbit. We bought a nice big cage, I talk to him all the time and let him loose in the room everyday for exercise. He does not want to be picked up, but will let me pet him sometimes. He bites me or my daughter all the time. I have no idea how old he is. I'm thinking about getting him fixed. Will this help? Also I think he's spraying and it stinks! I really want to keep him and give him a chance. He is beautiful. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Yes, neutering should do the trick.  if you want a PET bunny - you should always neuter.  make sure the vet has done this before on bunnies and is an exotic vet.  A weekend class does not an exotic vet make -

I have Havanas, all you do to make them nice is give them lots of attention. They don't need a big cage because there small. Talking to them can freak them out. Giving him exercise is good. Go to the vet to find out how old he is.Is he by a girl? By the way I'm 9.

I plan on gettin a little bunny but I'm curious do they need a lot of vet visits and do they get sick often?

Bunnies are generally very hardy healthy creatures and shouldn't need trips to the vet. There are two shots required to insure your bunnies health which you or the breeder would have to have for the bunny. Additionally you will probably want to spay or neuter your little one. After that just feed healthy foods and plenty of hay.

I breed lionlops because lionhead holland lop hybrids have become pretty popular now. I also know other breeders who do the same. I'm afraid I'm not in your area, and this really doesn't answer your question but all I can say is keep looking around cause lionlops are becomming quite popular

Hi Charlie its Marie. (My Beautiful Holland Lop Bunny) Snowball is now 4 to 5 months old but almost everytime I hold her she pee's on me but no one else. Thank God I have a towel on my lap with a garbage bag underneath. But for some reason she loves doing this to me. I am starting to get a complex. LOL!!! Then she will just flop down and go to sleep but before she does this I do change the towel to a fresh one so the scent is not there HELP????? Thank YOU!!!! Have a Great Weekend!!!

You have a good weekend too.  Have no idea why but many parrots regurgitate (throw up) on their human and it is affection.  They are trying to feed us.  I guess she figure you are her territory - and that is what she wrote.  Enjoy and have fun.

I have a silver marten called Lightning. He is my first rabbit and is so sweet. I let him out every morning and evening in our back garden and he runs around. When he has enough he just comes back to me and 'asks' me to let him back into his hutch. He is also really friendly and LOVES people. When I entered him in a pet fashion show he went straight to the judges and sat right next to them!

As a breeder and exibitor of Creme d'Argent rabbits, I can say that the breed is one of the most attractive bunnies out there. More importantly, Creme d'Argents tend to be gentle and easy-going bunnies.

Sadly, Creme d'Argents can be very difficult to find. The Creme d'Argent Rabbit Federation (Club affiliated with the American Rabbit Breeders Association) estimates that fewer than 1,000 Cremes remain WORLDWIDE. (To put that in perspective, more than 2,000 Mini Rex show rabbits are registered every year in the US.) I'd encourage pet owners to consider adopting one of these beautiful bunnies. "Pet quality" Creme d'Argents can often be purchased rather inexpensively from private breeders. For more information, please visit the CDRF's website at www.cremedargentfederation.com.

If you're not planning on breeding, then like I do with any of my pets that I'm not using for breeding purposes, I get them spayed or neutered. It makes them a much nicer pet also. Especially male rabbits, it stops them from spraying and makes them not as aggressive when they mature.
