Ive had two hamsters. My latest one, Fiona , is a georgeous syrian hamster and I love her too bits. She's a brown with dark brown and white on her.
In one of my latest magazines, Horse and Pony, there was a competition to win a habitrail cage which looked interesting and all you had to do was answer a questiom. The question was "Which Breed is this?" and it showed a whitey silver hamster with black markings. A.Syrian B.Sorceror C.Shamrock.
I went on Google typed each one in and went on images. I found out it wasn't Syrian because they are originally brown, and Sorceror is spelt s o r c e r e r, so i have no idea and Shamrock, I'm
completely lost, so HELP anyone please!
My first hamster Jake was so cute, he was a sandy brown and I loved him but sadly he had to be put down because he went all crazy!

I've had more than fifty hamsters, of all different breeds, during the past four years and I loved every single one of them. They are incredible pets if you treat them right. Once they gain your trust, they are the sweetest animals that you could ask for. I've had two litters already and one of my females, Peach, is pregnant now. I can't wait for her litter! Right now I have five hamsters: Two Roborovski hamsters, Two Siberian Dwarf hamsters, and a Long-Haired Teddy Bear hamster. They're the best!!! I got a lot of my information off of hamster sites when I was a new owner and it helped a lot. So never fear new hamster owners, there is more information than you need out there!

I have a teddy bear hamster named Chubs. He is very friendly and loves to eat. My 6yr old loves him to death because he is very smart and has never bitten. Before I never liked hamsters because I remember being a small child and the one my siblings and I had, ended up eating her offspring. Chubs has totally changed my view on the hamster world and their species. I wouldn't change him for the world. He is a clever escape artist but out of all the times he has gotten loose he has ended up coming to my daughter, my boyfriend, or myself. He has never hidden where we couldn't find him. One night he actually made it all the way upstairs to my bedroom to my bed. I wish everyone could have a great pet like Chubs.

I was reading the comments and you are NOT to give Hamsters baths unless they have something on their coat that is toxic, or something stuck in their coat they could ingest when cleaning themselves. Hamsters bathe themselves and get chilled very easily. If your hamster is stinky or unclean then you are not cleaning the cage enough. Spot clean the cage daily, and change the bedding weekly.

I just bought a black dwarf hamster and she is so sweet. I named her Emile. She was the smallest one in the cage, and looks like she is wet. She does not bite and loves wheat and apples. I love her to death.

Hello, I don't own a hamster, but my girlfriend does. Her name is Michael-ann Tyrrell, you can see her name below. Her new hamster is awesome. It's name is none other than Hammy. It is fat and loves to eat, not only hamster food, but ice cream. It is black and looks like a black rat. It's fat and fat and fatter. But it is soOo cute.
