We got 2 gp's about 6 months ago. We were told they were male Todd(tri-colored american)he was a breeder's male, and female Lola (cream self). we were shocked when they did not breed right away. Last night
we were doing the before bedtime snack and went to give one last cuddle, when we were surprised with a tiny tri-colored baby. she looks like she has rosettes already, she's darling. We named her Tikianna (Tiki). Lola is a very proud momma. we outfitted her with a new home to give her some space from big daddy--she loves it. Tiki appears healthy and sweet. There are 3 girls in our family so now we each have our own guinea pig, 4 cats, and a black lab--mom says if we get anymore pets she's selling our house and all of us to a domestic animal zoo!!

I love guinea pigs and these are the best guinea pig pictures I have ever seen!
How do you do it? I do not care but I love how you put it all together. I am only 10 years old and I have had 2 guinea pigs in my life so far. I got my first guinea pig when three years old, he was a boy and he lived for ten years. Thank you for putting up this Web Site. Samantha Lois Shepherd

I LOVE GUINEA PIGS. I HAD 2 TEDDIES. WHEN ONE DIED I WAS SO SAD BECAUSE THE OTHER ONE WAS PUSHING IT WITH HER NOSE. IT WAS SO SAD. GUINEA PIGS ARE FUN TO TAKE CARE OF AND THEY LIKE SMOOTH JAZZ ON LOW WHILE THEY ARE "SLEEPING"

I am 13 y/o and I have just recently breed my best cavy. She had three offspring and they are all wonderful pets. I suggest if anyone wants a pet that they should seriously consider guiena pigs. I have been breeding for four years and hope to do much more!

Guinea Pigs are small animals, but have the intelligence of dogs. I have owned eight guniea pigs, and I know this is true. Every guinea pig I have owned has been very intelligent. I have owned an agouti, an abyssinian, many self-creams, and an american guinea pig. they are all very smart in their own ways. Agout's use tools to do certain things and are very crafty. Abyssinians are very caring and loving to younger guniea pigs. Self creams are very athletic and love attention. American guinea pigs are probably the most intelligent. They do not forget many things that you teach them and interact in different ways. All of these kinds of guinea pigs are very intelligent and many people should own them.

I have a guinea pig, and I simply adore him!! It is funny to see him eat an orange, because then his chin gets all orange. I love my guinea pig!! :-)
