I've tried to put all kinds of different fish's with her in a tank. But she eats them all!. I don't know what to do. or what to feed her. or how many times do i feed her. If someone can help me that would be great.

Live fish are great for them and it gives her some exercise.  The turtle sticks are good because they give the turtle the vitamins they are missing in captivities.  Adding some vegetables is a great idea too.  I would cut a few feeders in the tank a week and use the turtle sticks once or twice a day.  The turtle will give you the signs when hungry.

I have a baby Eastern Spiny Soft shell Turtle. I have not set my tank up yet. I want it to be perfect so he's in a small plastic tub. I change the water everyday since its not a lot of water. I put some calcium sand in there and now there is a film on top of the water -  is calcium sand ok. I have also notice a light white fuzz on his neck can't tell if it is shedding of a fungus. any thoughts? thank you

I'm guessing its a fungus. Be sure to have a filter on his tank as that will help with the film, and can help prevent infections. You may want to treat the water with a fungal medication (like for fish). Once he's in a larger body of water, that should help. They are a more difficult water turtle to care for, but once you get him established and his final home on a maintenance schedule, you should do fine.

I have a spiny soft shelled turtle since 2010 after typhoon 'ONDOY' I put her/him in the aquarium and she/he eat a pellet like for my Japanese Coy fish food. I don't know how to identify the gender. Before I put her in my aquarium after a week my fish die that;s why I separate her to other aquarium. Also before she just 1-1/2 inch big now she is 2-1/2 inches. I'm enjoying seeing her swimming in the aquarium.

Scroll up in this Animal World article and it will tell you pretty much what they eat. They are carnivores so meat and they will eat fish, pinkies but look up at CARE and FEEDING in this article for the list. They can also be acclimated to commercial diets.

Can anyone tell me why my spiney soft shell is not eating much at all. She use to eat earthworms as soon as I put them in her tank. She now has guppies swimming around her head with no interest. She hides in her sand and will keep her head out and swim around. Even though she is shy, she is less shy and will be less isolative, but not eating much at all. I have had her for about 3 months. She is approx 4-5 inches long. Cute as a button but I want to make sure she is healthy. Will not go out of the water even with her ramp and rocks I have set up for her. Temp of water 78. Any suggestions. Thanks. She does hold her head out of water often enjoying her heat lamp. She also has the special light that is like the sun or something, cant remember, but it's the right one.

Take her to the vets. She should be eating a bit more after laying eggs.
