I am the owner of two ball pythons. they are about 3 years old, one is 5ft. and the other is only around 4. its not the easiest thing to measure ive noticed. They are the best friends i have ever had, and more so, part of the family. they have never tried to bite me or my children at any time. and occasionally i will hold the live rat as they take it from my hand,, scarry at first, but, very exciting.

The only case I've heard of the snakes eating other snakes came from a book by Bill Love, a leading herptologist. If you feed your multiple snakes at the same time, there is a large chance that they will both/all go for the same food item. Generally, while eating the mouse, one snake can begin to eat the other, simply because they are consuming the mouse, which the other snake is also attached to. I feed my snakes in separate Rubbermaid containers anyway, so that they don't associate the opening of their cage with food, to prevent them from striking. I haven't heard too much on cannibalism in the cases of breeding, though that would be possible as well.

yeah in rare cases corn snakes will eat each other. There is a bigger chance if you are breeding them that this will happen. other than that good care sheet.

i have two corns of my own.
one is a black corn and one is a cream sicle corn.
its perfectly normal if your corn does not feed before shedding.
look in the eyes to see if they are smokey, to see if it is shedding or not.

I just purchasesd an albino corn snake for my family and I, and though I don't know a lot about her yet, we are thoroughly enjoying her! I have 2 small children and 2 dogs and they think she's great. I think she and my husband have really taken to each other too. She is very mild-mannered, curious and friendly. I can't wait to learn more about her and watch her grow!

i stumbled upon this site regarding some information regarding my ball python and for what i found i thought i could pass on some hopefully useful info to those who could use it,

i have an aquatic fish tank with about 2 gallons of STERILE local soil, peat moss potting soil ect. and i love to plant things in my tank, but it seems every time i plant something it gets mowed over by my herp, so planter beware.

Always when planting make sure EVERYTHING you use must be sterile, and most times than not check for mold.

Never try feeding your snake when it is shedding. This will damage and scar the snakes new skin.

I have to agree that a hot rock is not a good thing to have in your cage. A mat heater under the tank and a ceramic heater above, and black lights will be much better.
My red tail is about 6mo. old 30" long and is a fantastic snake. no bites yet, eats very good, I just switched over to pre-killed with no problem.

i just thought i would let you know, I NEVER recomended to use a hot rock in a tank with a snake, the tempiture is un-even and can get to hot and burn you snake.
