I got tired of having the traditional pets that everyone expects one to have, so I bought a Rose-Haired Tarantula, and a Bird Eating Spider. My Goliath was sick apparently when I got him. He died several days after I purchased him. I also have just recently purchased two Pink Toed Tarantulas. One is still a baby spider. The other one is a half size bigger. The smallest stays on the floor of the taranium and the bigger one likes to stay on the wall close to the top of the taranium. I love my tarantulas. I just respect and take care of them and their environments. But I am too scared to hold them for fear of possibly getting bitten.

Never try feeding your snake when it is shedding. This will damage and scar the snakes new skin.

I have to agree that a hot rock is not a good thing to have in your cage. A mat heater under the tank and a ceramic heater above, and black lights will be much better.
My red tail is about 6mo. old 30" long and is a fantastic snake. no bites yet, eats very good, I just switched over to pre-killed with no problem.

i am a snake owner and we own many snakes at this time and i wanted all of you to know that I think you should NEVER use a hot rock for a snake, the temp gets to high and can cause bad burns on your snake.

Just thought i would let you all know, just want the best for all snakes!

well i have three of these pink toe tarantulas and they are very docile and they love to climb and they love the humidity in there cage. you have to keep it on 80% or better. also they like to get out if you can hold them. they are very fast spiders so make sure they dont jump out of your hand. if they do it will kill them in time or at that time. when they hit the floor it will bust there abdomen

I have liked these lizards a lot. they are very easy to take care of and are fun to watch. They also need a lot of attention, but are very loving. They can live a long time, we heard 15-20 years if taken well care of. Since they are nocturnal they like red uv lights. My leopard gecko is 1 year old.

I just got my 3rd rose hair. This one was just a few weeks old. My first two were quite pink in the center and looked very pretty and fairly large. Wonderful pets easy to care for and great if you rent. I never picked my original ones up however since I have purchased this one so young I am hoping I can get it used to human contact.
