I love my rose haired tarantula. Though they say that they are okay to hold, mine is really nervous when i try to pick it up. But it's still cool to see it eat crickets and mealworms. I saw it molt and I thought it was dead. Luckily, it wasn't. This is probably the best tarantula for beginers and pros alike.

This tarantula is awesome. I love watching it crawl across my hand and eat crickets. The amazing thing is i used to be terribly arachnophobic but my little spider Rosie helped me overcome my fear. in a matter of hours i had it crawling across me. They are incredible.

I have recently aquired a 10 inch specimen named Bob by his previous owners. He is doing quite well in a 240 gallon aquarium. Tank mates include two three inch angels and two two inch Boesmani rainbow fish. I've had no problems with Bob harrassing any of his tank mates....so far. He did, however, trash the few live plants I had.

I love my Pink Toed Tarantula! They make great pets and are easy to take care of. I feed mine about once a week. Heads up on their molting. Today I came home and feaked out when I thought I saw two tarantulas in the cage. I thought, oh crap it's some how cloned itself, and the bigger one is eating the smaller one. Not so. It was only shedding its body, so just prepare yourself for it.:)

We have been raising a female yellow foot for about 15 years, was about ten years old when we received her. Has been a great experience. She lives outdoors year round except few very cold times(below 25 degrees F.) She has a house with a radiant heater and moves back and forth as needed to stay warm. Loves watermelon. Never been sick. Good pet for the South.

I just recently bought an albino corn snake and he/she is amazing! He's just a baby right now, so he's only about 10-12 inches long but he's very friendly and curious. All of my friends love him! I would recommend the Albino Corn Snake to anyone.

As noted extremely fast! I keep fast ones that bite. But ive had mine run up the side of the tank out and onto the next tank--im glad it never made the floor. faster than anything, ive ever seen it run up the end of the light, perched, and then i swear it wanted to jump when raising the container! GOT ADDRENALINE?

I have had snakes for years, my dad got me water snakes when i was four. 11 years later i now have over 30 snakes, most of which are breeding. Red tailed boas are amazing snakes, but as much as people recommend them, you are still better off to start with something a bit smaller, now i aint saying cornsnakes or ball pythons( nothing against them, i breed them), just start off small. Sand is really bad for these guys, and they are generally arboreal.
