I have had a spiny softshell turtle now for about, 3 months, he lives in a heated 45 gal tank with 3 other turtles. I have had no problems, and he is definatly fully grown, if anything the turtles are getting along great. It is definatly fun watching him catch fish, he bury himself under the sand/gravel with just his head out and "snap" the fish that swim right in front of him. Oh, and his name is Sargent Slips (due to his slippery shell.) As long as you don't keep the tank TOO crowded, they'll do just fine.

I've got a goliath bird eater. Shes a girl and I've had her for about 5 months now. Her name is Anabel. Lately she is acting really weird, i think she is going to molt soon. She hides in her log all the time, even at night. I just hope shes ready to molt, but i dont want her to molt in her log because i dont want to disturb her tank and rip it up once she's finished molting. She's cool though, but frustrating at the same time.

Red-headed centipedes are common north of Dallas in the crosstimbers area--we've seen them as big as 8" in our yard in Oak Point. They're not just limited to New Mexico and points west!

I just graduated from a 10 gallon tank to a 55 gallon mac-daddy turtle world. It's awesome. My one-year old turtle and his two 3-month-old buddies are loving it. They have a floating sunbathing rock. I keep guppies in the tank to breed a continual supply of live fish. They eat pellets and anachris. I read how easily they breed but I don't want them to breed. I wouldn't know what to do with that many babies.

Hi my name is Krissy. I have an iguana named Grover. I have had him now for about 13 years. He is so pretty, has the most beautiful colors you have ever seen in an iguana, and he has never dropped his tail(it's as strong as a brick, guess I've taken good care of him). Grover is my pride in joy and he is a great pet. A little mean, but we deal with that... haha
