I recently got my kole tang, and I noticed over the last few days, my regal blue tang has taken interest in my kole tang, they rub bodies with one another, fin to fin, they are always swimming together, they are always even when they eat, has there ever been cases of a pairing between two different species of tangs?

My Kole is a Great addition to my tank, he does well with the yellow tang and maroon clown...seems to be a little less tolerant of the damsel. He stays very busy swimming all over the tank and nipping at the algae/rocks as if he were picking up around the house.

My Yellow Eyed Tang is most definitely the most active of all my reef Fish. He shakes, eats and picks at everything and loves to chase away my Sand sifting Goby. I want to get a yellow or purple tang but I'm hesitant of more problems. So far he gets along perfectly with:
    -Lemon Peel angel
    -Maroon Clown
    -3 Green Chromies
    -Royal Gamma
    -Purple and White Goby
Hope this helps! 95 gallon Corner Bow front Reef tank.

We have a 120 gallon salt water tank. We have a blue sturgeon, yellow tang a sailfin tang, coral beauty and some others. We bought a naso, a gold rim tang and a green wrasse probably with in the last month. Was looking at our tank and those 3 are now gone, cannot find. Does anyone know what could have happened or who could have ate them?

Seeing what someone else wrote about sailfin tangs, they had a moon wrasse eat/kill their sailfin tang. I am wondering if that was your case as well, but it being your green wrasse.

Hello! I bought a naso tang a couple of weeks back and it's doing perfectly fine. It wouldn't feed for some days but now it feeds on anything. It has since become the pride of my aquarium.

I just bought a blue tang today and she is a beauty! We also have a Undulate Trigger which are very aggressive,( did not know this until after I bought him,) and they get along great. We are new to the hobby but our tank is doing very well and "Dory" makes a great addition. She is still a little shy but very cool to just sit and watch. I catch myself sitting just looking at the tank with all our fish.

One of the most beautiful fish I have ever owned; however it is a headache. Extremely agreesive. Everything I add, it gets bullied until death. He will attacks any new addition. I am looking to add a Flame Angel, a Bi Color Angel and a Blue Tang, and I am just afraid that they are going to end dead as well as the others. Any ideas? I am willing to sell it or trade it. Large about 6 inches long.

My yellow tang seems to have a brownish colour on the back of it, and just lying in rocks.

Absolutely love this fish! Very active and is usually the first one to greet me upon walking over to the aquarium. It does grow pretty fast and the colors improve with age. Mine is currently about 6 inches (from a two inch juvenile) and swims everywhere in the tank. Maintenance is easy on this fish, once it starts eating and feels confident in its environment. It does eat a lot (poops a lot, too), so have a steady, varied diet ready for it, including lots of nori, and an oversized filtration system to handle the bioload. Would recommend this fish to anyone who has a tank larger than 6 feet long and over 180 gal. in capacity and willing to give it the proper care it deserves, as it will get large and needs plenty of swimming space.
