I have a yellow eyed tang in a 160 gal reef aquarium. It has paired up with a yellow tang and they seem to get along great and compliment each other well. I have just recently added a coral beauty and the yellow eyed tang has taken offense. I have also noticed it chasing my golden angel as well. I would not be put off by keeping these lovely tangs. If you are going to add smaller fish such as dwarf angels or certain species of butterflies then I recommend you give them enough space and hiding places for them to escape the aggressive nature which becomes apparent almost immediately.

I have had luck with many different kinds of Tangs and if you can get them to eat Romaine lettuce you will have very healthy tangs.

I have not owned a Blue tang but they are very pretty animals and probably make great fish pets. I think that this is why the people of Finding Nemo picked this kind of species to play Dori.I love Dori!

Yes It's True, You Do a Very Good Job & It Is Useful, As I Have a Project To Do About The Amphiprion Ocellaris and Paracanthurus Hepatus. But It Would Be Better If You Put In More Facts About The Fishes.
Thanks For The Help!

My Kole Tang is in a 90 gallon and tolerates my chromis and clowns quite well, but exhibits a rather nasty disposition towards my Copperband Butterflyfish. I'm very hesitant to add another tang as I don't think the Kole will tolerate one. My advice would be to add this fish as the last tang to your tank or if you have one that is already established in your tank, add another tang of larger size. Heed this advice because in the event you do have an aggression issue with the kole, it's impossible to catch and remove it in a larger tank with a lot of live rock.

ive got a sohal in my 75 gallon tank. the other fish are puffer, grouper, niger trigger, and a powder blue tang, about 80lbs of live rock. the sohal is incredible. it has added a lot to the tank. it doesnt bother the other fish, as a matter of fact the puffer seems to give the sohal a hard time.

i have kept all kinds of marine fish for some time and have found the unicorn tang to be one of the best aquarium fish as they tend to change colour very noticably and rapidly to match their surroundings, but have also found them to be reasonably hard to keep as they do not like too much water fluctuation. a beautiful fish none the less.(males grow the spine on their head at a certain age and the tail elongates)
