i've had my ocellaris for about 4 months now in a 30 gallon. he's very active and friendly. i've never seen him act aggressive towards any of my other fish, some of which are gobies and quite small. great fish for a beginner and anyone that wants a beautiful fish for a great price.

ive had my clownfish for about 3 weeks but already they are the best fish i've had so far. they bring something to my aquatium that none of my other fish do, and so easy to take care of. im now going to try to breed them, hopefully everything goes good.

I got my clowns a couple of days ago, cool little fish. they are very friendly and play with each other all day and even swim together. I don't know if this is normal, but I love them!

ie had my 2 false percs for a while now. ive had one for about 9 months and the other for about 6. they are doing great in my 30 gal semi reef tank. when i have new additions, they do seem a little nosey and show which part of the tank is theirs. they do eat anything and everything they can that i put in. my pearly jaw even has a little bit of a competition on getting misis when i put it in. i do say they are greedy eaters. but they are fairly nice and arent too aggressive. they are the perfect clownfish speices to have. they get along with many additions such my scooter blenny. depending on your clownfishes personality depends on what you can put in and what the most likly tank mates can be

Tank bred sandlebacks seem to be the easiest to keep. Wild caught, like the pink skunks don't do well. They will host a Heteractis Magnifica (Ritteri) anemone with glee! Even the captive bred like the captive bred tomatos have an STRONG need to host something! (even a mushroom rock!) Very easy to get to host like the tomato but the different coloring makes them a welcome change! Though I read they get dark as they age, this is yet to be seen as mine are only 6 months old. They have a similar aggression as tomatos, but not mean like the cinnamon or maroon. They do not attack my hand when by their anemone! Though they are not as calm as the perculas and skunks.

This fish is very territorial. Frequently found attacking any fish regardless of size. This fish will stress out all other fish. Its so bold that it will attack the owners hand that goes near its "spot". For this reason, I recommend a tank that is longer. This way other fish have less of a chance of going by its "spot" and getting attacked by it.

They like caves and do fine without a sea anemone.

This is a great fish and is one of the easiest clown fish. I bought it when I was initiated into the marine fish tanks. I really recommend this clown fish to all types of marine hobbyists.
