hi I need help if any one can help, I have set up a marine tank in june 09, I have got two commen clowns, three snails, cleanning shrimp and a royal gramma. I have found a jelly like bubble on the live rock in a hiding place, its about an inch either way, and its darker in the middle, its like the outer surface is protecting whats in the middle.

These fish are really wonderful to watch. They are very hardy, take any food very easily, and don't harm any corals or inverts. It's a very good fish for beginners. And btw, this site ROCKS....!!!

Hi jackie my clownfish got stuck in the chamber for 2 days, i thought he was dead. When i cleaned the chamber he jumped in the tank.

Hey Ya'll,

Quick question, Never maintained a salt water aquarium before. My son has a 24"x24"x24" tank. We moved it from his apartment to my home, since he's going to Afghanistan for 1 year.

We moved it on the 26th of Dec. 2009, The flamming angel has a white tip on it's face and beginning of tail is whitish. Thought it may have been stress due to the move, but has not regained color since. Bought some 100% organic fungicide for that.

The tank has been working fine. Last night my wife fed the fish. One small & one large common clown. This afternoon I found the large one on the floor, must have jumped out overnight.

Looking to replace it - But are they compatible separately? they were both as a pair.

This fish should be introduced last beacause of its territorial and aggressive behavior. Moving the live rock or decorations around once a month or so also helps prevent too much aggression and territorial outbursts torward other fish. It is an extremely robust fish.
They also are very hardy. just don't put them with passive fish.

Hi, dont know if anyone can answer this. I want to set up a marine tank and wondering if 2 percula clowns will be fine in a 60 lt tank to themselves.

I got my clowns a couple of days ago, cool little fish. they are very friendly and play with each other all day and even swim together. I don't know if this is normal, but I love them!
