I just bought my first emperor angelfish today. Love it ..One question for whoever reads this, is it a sideways swimmer, cause I'm noticing lots of side swimming in her rather than up straight swimming. Please someone tell me it normal or should I take her back?

The one I got about 3 months ago quickly became my favorite! Coco (afrectionaltely named) is very beautiful, sweet tempered and hasn't touched my corals yet, but to put it lightly, she's not the brightest bulb on the Hanukkah tree lol she decided yesterday to bug my fiddler crab in a tight crevice and wedged herself stuck. When I freed her, she proceeded to do it again! Very pretty and cute fish with a fun personality, but not very bright. Will quickly become a favorite!

I have had a Flame angel for 4 months now. He took 2 weeks to eat frozen foods, but started grazing straight away (140g reef tank). Doesn't touch corals, so far, but keeps chasing my small flame back angel. Would not mix him with any other pigmy angel.

The King Angelfish is surely a beauty to lay eyes on. I had mine all for a mere week, and within that week it ate and seem to do extremely well, and I awoke one morning to find it dead. It gave no warning that it was even sick or dying. I immediately tested the water to see what could have happened to it, all the testings were fine. All I can say is that maybe this fish is exactly like it says, moderately hardy.

the flame angel looks nice in appearance but this has to have been the most annoying fish ive kept. it is very territorial especially when settled in the aquarium. i kept it with a zebra moray, porcupinefish, mimic tang, and shortfin lion. it would even boss the eel and puffer around they were near its prefered piece of rockwork. it is easy to keep but a bit of a waste of money as they are high priced.

Yry to keep them on quarantine on a kritter keepers for 2 to 3 weeks to get them used to the other fish. We have had some problems with that type of stuff and it seems that this is the easy way to get rid of the problem. It made take some time but it works most off the time
