the undulated trigger fish is also good eatin! When I lived in the philippines we were stuck on a small island for three days and we caught these bad boys with a line and hook. Sorry, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

A common misconception is that this fish is a slow swimmer but it can keep up with just about any fish, especially when an attempt is made to catch it. They can dart from one end of the tank to the other in a flash. I have had several and they do seem prone to ich. Freshwater dips and keeping the salinity low, around 1.020, seem to help a lot.

tallulah is the name of our very lively healthy clown tang. (although maybe borris is her name ...how do you know if its a male or female ??) anyway , royal of the tank it is. Likes to hang out with clowne fish, and isnt scared to tease simon, the banded shrimp. Likes to shelter in the biggest cave, and will makes her head turn black when feeling territorial. Extremely fast swimmer , loves her food and has a good sense of humour.

i have a bamboo and it just come out of its egg, but there is a little eggs still hooked to him. he has been born for two days now. he is staying on the bottom of the tank like he should and i know he is eating even though that is hooked to him. thank you shannon

I have had many different kinds of triggerfishes, and I have to believe that the queen is one of my favorites. They are beautiful fishes, and have a very interesting temperment. They do not hide a lot, therefore actually being able to view unlike some other triggers. (undulated!!) Very pretty yet as mine got older and bigger, became territorial and was the focus of my 200 gallon tank.
