Charlie Roche - 2012-08-20 How come you can't have the pup with the cats if they got along? Just curious - possibly youhave more sense thanme though.
trish - 2012-03-18 I agree. My italian greys love anything that don't get them first. I have 3 adults and 2, 4 month olds that I have the mom and pop too. I also have 1 rescue grey off the track. It is great to see my big male think he is their mama and hold them down to clean their ears. I have great fun with all my greys and they are the best dogs I have ever had. The 2 pups are a hand full at the present time but, will get better, would not trade them for anything.
Jared - 2011-06-23 Keep your greyhound on a leash.. My dog got off my wrist on accident and took off at 30 to 40 mph down the street out of sight... up 6 blocks one way and then back 1 mile the other direction down a 6 lane street. Many cars stopped to help me catch her. She was fine thank god, but her paws were raw and her nails down to the nerves. It was truly traumatizing to me and the dog. I now buckle her to my belt around my waist.

Charlie Roche - 2011-06-24 My Pyrenes did that to me and it looked like a giant white fur running thing going down with the cars through 2 lanes of traffic. Not fun and she was on a leash but it just broke.
KC - 2010-07-04 I would like to bring to your attention that avacados are poisonous to dogs. I read so in the petfinder.com Adopted Dog Bible. I have seen that also on many other websites. Please remove the section where it says that they are ok, as you may be causing people's pets to fall ill.

Editor's Note - 2010-07-19 Thanks KC for your good suggestion, and the info has been corrected on the page!
Doc - 2010-08-23 I beg to differ with you regardless of the source. I have a five acre avocado ranch and my dogs as well as neighborhood dogs eat fallen avocados on a regular basis with no ill effects with the exception of a little weight gain if I let them eat too many. Now if I could just get them to pick them and put them in the bins, I'd be all set!
Holly - 2010-12-10 I love my dog and avocados. My italian greyhound is my first dog. He is not allergic to avocados, and actually enjoys them.
The affectionate Italian Greyhound is so playful that keeping them in pairs can provide a good outlet for all that energy!
