An outside cat who adopted us recently had three kittens and one of them has one ear (the right one) that points down. I don't suppose it is a true Scottish fold but could it be possible that it has some sort of Scottish Fold gene by accident?

That Scottish Fold's name is Earmark's Sock Monkey (aka: Mookie). I know because he was from my house and I remember showing him that day.

Our first Fold, Angus, had the osteo issue, but lived just past his 18th birthday. I'm sure he was in a lot of pain the last several years, and gave up using the stairs about 3 years ago. He slept and was fed in the family room, loved to sleep on his big dog cushion in front of the fireplace on cool days and evenings. He is surely missed, even though I have two other Folds, one straight-eared. Thankfully, they don't have the osteo issue, and we hope to have them as long a time as we shared with our beloved Angus. Ottering and prairie dogging are distinct characteristics, and so sweet and funny to see. You will adore having a quiet and loving Fold in your home.

That cat looks like the wild cat that we get here in Scotland up in our highland mountains. I wouldn't be surprised that it's a cross from that. We already have lots of domestic cats that have bred with the wild mountain cat

I have an adorable 11-year-old Cornish Rex. She is still playful and boisterous as the day I brought her home when she was 6 weeks old. Very vocal, very affectionate, and very talented. She can open doors with her paws!

Even people who don't like cats love my kitty. She's just that good!

My daughter had a beloved Scottish Fold Cat named Louie. Louie lived for about 14 years. When my daughter graduated from college, she left Louie with us until she was settled in her new location. We had a Yellow Nape Parrot and before we knew what was happening, Louie and the Yellow Nape had become fast friends. They would spend the day together curled up with one another. I wouldn't recommend putting a cat with a bird though and especially not a yellow nape because they do have fierce bites and most are not as gentle as our yellow nape. However, when my daughter had children Louie seemed to change his behavior and spent most of his time in the closet. He would only visit in the evenings and the cat would never, ever drink from a bowl. He wanted only fresh water from the facet - drip, drip, drip. Louie could only have certain cat foods because of too much of something which I seem to remember was ash. It would cause severe kidney problems. Scottish Fold Cats are beautiful great pets.

I have a 1 year old Scottish Fold with a red smoke coloured coat called Pablo. He is really lively and mischievous, but very affectionate and cute too. I just adore the breed now. Wish I could post his picture on here. He deserves to be famous.

My Cornish Rex is just over 4 years old and very affectionate. He is very much a shoulder cat and enjoys riding on my shoulder throughout the house. He is cold-natured and enjoys the comfort of his warm blanket during winter. He is solid white, odd eyed, (one gold and one blue), and enjoys being the center of attention!

Our Cornish Rex is now 14 years old. She is still playful, very social, and very, very affectionate...After returning home from a week's business trip outside, no choice is given to me but to cuddle with her. She just harrasses me until I pick her up and then turbo-purrs for hours.

Sleeping involves her getting under the comforter and sleeping at your feet. During summertime she just sleeps over the comforter and wakes you up on week-end mornings when she thinks you had enough sleep...

Our rex is a little cat with a big, big heart.
