Hi,
I have a traditional siamese, named kenzo. He's an absolute angel at times and a terror, he has so much energy, always looking for something to do, he's broken a lot of things at home, you need a lot of patience with siamese cats..he's always bringing gifts, if it's not a birds head, then it's their wing. I do let him outdoors even tho I was not supposed to, but my house is small, he gets bored very quick. If you're planning to get a siamese be prepared, they not like your normal cats, but they very fun to own, he's very good with my little nieces, and with my moms two cats, but I introduced him early to them, he somehow made friends with a neighbors dog lol....he's full of tricks....but I wouldn't have two have them his a handful already, if he pass on, I'll most def get a siamese again.

I used to have a great angora named Samantha. She was white and odd-eyed (one blue and one gold). She has long since passed on but I do miss her a lot. She acted more like one of kids in my family and was always loving and very playful. She was always very protective and kept dogs and other cats out of our yard.

I would really like to adopt a havanna brown. My dad saw them on a cat breed show and fell in love with them. He really wants one. We have a calico and a main coon. Both are not registered. We have all our pets spade or neutered. We do not want to breed. If anyone has a kitten or young cat female preferred I am willing to pay for shipping it doesn't even have to be a pure breed. We will not show or breed. It is for a family pet. My mom is disabled with fibromialgia and my dad is retiring this fall. They love cats and will have alot of time to spoil them! dtcma@msn.com or dtmwykoff@gmail.com thanks

I think my chocolate brown cat is accidental as well. He's gorgeous chocolate brown everything, no tabby markings but one little white spot near his eye. He has green/gold eyes, he's a little chubby and doesn't look slender like legitimate havana's but his facial features are the same, nose, etc. He's very anti social with strangers. Hates dogs but eventually tolerated my new puppy. Loves to be outside but I limit that, too many strays in the neighborhood. He fetches, or at least he used to. He's 7 now, not as active as he used to be, he used to be content with a rolled up piece of foil in a ball and would fetch that, played for hours! He'll sit at the window and call the birds in the most strangest meow/howl. He's social with the family, only my mom and daughter, not my dad but doesn't hesitate to fall asleep at his feet. He likes to be touched but NEVER carried and will NEVER sit on your lap, EVER. Once, when he was a kitten, he fell asleep on my tummy, like a little baby, but like I said, ONCE. Other than that, he's pretty vocal, he scratches at your bedroom door if he's out of food or water. He's a wonderful cat and his vet loves him, always takes him around to show him off, which is weird, don't know how he does it, he hates to be carried.

I am trying to find out how likely/rare it is to find a non-bred chocolate kitty. My solid chocolate girl was rescued from a feral colony, most of whom are solid black. No other brown cats. Plus I'm pretty sure which ones are her mother and sister - and they're both solid black. She too has that puppy way of "heeling" when I walk through the house, a somewhat odd vocal quality (mine sort of bleats like a goat!), and is pure muscle. Looks almost identical to the one in the photo at the top of this page.

Here is a picture of my cat which I rescued at four months old. I believe that the closest feline he resembles would be the "Turkish Angora." I would like to report some behavior that I would have not expected, having being raised by a couple of cats and dogs as I grew up. This feline, opens up cupboards and turns off lights, loves the water and even enjoys canine company. I challenge anybody to tell me that this isn't the cat that I think it in the photo. Anyways, would love to have more advice on this obscure breed- lucgreen

I own two beautiful black and white scotish fold cats, sylvester and taz, sylvester looks like sylvester off of looney tunes, he is so affectionate with me, he follows me everywhere and even lays on my side wen i am curled up on the couch, he might be sweet at times but wen he wants to play hide your feet cause he loves to bite feet. Taz is a little devil, hence the name TAZ, he is a ball full of energy, he is my husbands cat, they do everything together when my hubby eats he feeds his cat some, wen his cat wants to play he walks up and meows at him. My cat just pesters me until I pet him, and they both attack the dogs from underneath the coffee table, they are fun, lovable, sweet, and spontaneous. I don't know what I would do without them it my life.

I rescued a cat at an animal shelter which I found out to be an ocicat. She is quite remarkable and beautiful. She has such dog-like qualities and loves to play fetch. She is quite talkative and is in everyone's business. My husband who is not a cat person happens to love this cat. She is 8 months old and is just about as big as my other adult cat. I read that they can grow for 2 years. Looking forward to seeing if that is true. What a great find!

I bottle fed a little kitten born by a Calico.. He is long and skinny 3Mo now, and apparantly will be very tall. He is very affectionate and VERY PLAYFUL!
I take a pair of fuzzy sock and warm them in the dryer, and he goes wild! He runs with them and growls and hovers over them, and dont dare try to take them away! He plays tug of war with them and you can chase him.. He loves to play fetch, just like a dog? My Calico at home mothers him and keeps him very clean.. LOL we love him. Your the first to hear of your cat acting like a dog! Try the sock thing, its hilarious..

Hi, I have just seen your comment on animal world. I breed Ocicats in the UK. They are brilliant fun and super pets. I have no idea where you are but if you check out World of Ocicats you will find breeders listed in many countries. Hope you find one near to you. My website is www.yesso.co.uk

I own a white Turkish Angora, who is 5 years old. I adopted her from the SPCA. She is very attached to me and will follow me from room to room. She seems to have separation anxiety because if I am gone for longer than a day or two at a time, she will start pulling out her hair and wailing. She will do this even if another family member is at home with her. Is there anything I can do to ease her anxiety while I am gone?

I would love to know how common is a chocolate brown cat that isn't a Havana Brown. We just adopted a young male that is chocolate colored, with black tabby markings. He has white feet, tummy and a white splotch on his muzzle. Definitely NOT a pure breed. Our vet says he will stay brown, and that she has not seen one with this much brown on him. Is brown an unusual color for an American shorthair?
