One of The tricks Sunny does is lay on his back and open one eye to see if your looking. I picked sunny up at a pet store after he was returned after being stuck in someone's room with no socialization.

Hello! My fiance and I purchased Zazu, our four-month-old Jenday/Sun Conure mix, about two weeks ago. Already, he is well acclimated, playing constantly and desiring lots of attention. I must say, as my thirteen-year-old cockatiel, Eo, passed away about a month ago, I thought it would take some time to feel attached to Zazu. Due to his carefree, loving demeanor, however, I could not help but absolutely adore him. He is so well natured and a wonderful addition to our family. As long as you can accept the somewhat frequent, loud chirping, I highly recommend this breed.

I have had my peach fronted conure ,Jasper, for 7 years now. He can only say a few words but will only learn a word if it means something. To be picked up he says "up, up?" to get attention and call you over he says "Hello!" When he nips me he says "Ow". He can mimic my laugh quite well. He loves showering in the stink, and being carried around. I highly recommend this breed, they are a joy!

I have a sun conure named Kiki, I have had her for over a month now, she is very very loud and tempermental, but such a riot!!! She loves grapes and apples. She also loves watching the fish in my aquirium and talking to them lol!!!! And watching the birds from the window!!!

I just got my Halfmoon Conure....today as a matter of fact! It's 13 weeks old, and has done nothing all evening but sit on the upper perch in it's brand new cage and stare at me, in between short little naps. This is my third Halfmoon over a span of 30 years, and I look forward to many years of joy with the newest member of my family! I established a great deal of trust and closeness with my previous birds; I hope to accomplish the same with "Bodhi".

We have a dusky conure, Poot. He is a bundle of energy. He loves to snuggle under shirts for naps. He also loves to chase the cats off the furniture (under supervision of course). Pretty much, Poot feels that he owns the whole house and we are his minions.

I am babysitting my sister and bro in law's conure "Dipsy" for 4 months while they are in Iraq. I have to say, he is an absolute joy! He says about 4 words, but we are teaching him another one as a surprise. Hee Hee. He also LOVES car rides! Wonderful, and Dipsy is quiet and only "poops" (one of his words) in a designated area of his cage. I would like to get one, but I am afraid it would not be as well behaved as Dipster.

My GCC is 9 months old and he is so clever and cheeky it's not funny. He says HI and Hello and his new word is 'scratch' when you scratch under his wings. He showers with us, he attacks us, he's VERY jealous, can be moody, attacks fingers and toes when feeling playful (a little too hard) he plays with a ball with a bell in it, he has many whistles, he snuggles up behind my hair and sleeps. He is the most playful beautiful parrot ever. He rolls down our tummy's and he also LAUGHS when we laugh. He LOVES champagne and my husband has a major sweet tooth which can not escape Bubba who flies or will do anything to get to my husband when he is eating. It's so much worse than a dog because bubba sits right by my hubby's mouth to get fed and will not leave until it's all finished.
These are the most fantastic birds ever. I find Bubba has taken a few feathers out probably due to boredom during the day as we all work as soon as we are home he's with us until it's bed time. I mean we take him grocery shopping and to soccer and visiting people that do not have pets but it's just when we are at work that he goes insane. (I try leave the radio on too).
Bubba is SO intelligent (I think they all are). He doesn't really eat anything other than his seed unless it's from our mouth's not sure if this is norm.
Also he showers with us ALL the time, LOVES it, he also in summer if I'm cleaning and leave an empty glass of water on the bench or have a glass of water and him with me he'll DIVE in it to bath, or try dive in the sink even if it's hot bubbly water to bath, he's obsessed by it.
AND car sickness, he gets REALLY car sick sometimes if it's long periods.

I have a 1 year old half moon conure. He is so sweet yet can be very vocal! He loves to take baths and eat people food. His favorite thing is to ride around on my shoulder.
