2 very separate handsome greys with diff personalities;Mondongo is very nonchalant, sophisticated with no inkling for the opposite sex yet Pelusa is in constant mating mode....Think time's for breeding. Need a female or ideas here in Miami, open for suggestions :)

I have a male cockatiel at age 10 months, he's still young but I'm still not sure what breed he is. But I think he's a lutino. So does every one else, even a pet keeeper said so, so that's what I think.

I recently lost my gray cockatiel and have acquired another one but by her coloring she's lutino but her eyes aren't red. They're black. Maybe someone knows why.

Pigmentation..not to worry it is safe.

Have you seen her eyes in bright light? I know my latino cockatiel's look black until I get him into direct light and then I can really see the red.

I bought a young, grey, male cockatiel last tuesday. His name is Osha. Everytime i get near him he hisses. I can usually get him on my finger and pet him, but not for very long because he will take off and fly around my room screeching, his wings are trimmed so that he can hover. Sometimes he seems to be in a good mood but most of the time he just bites you put your finger anywhere near him. Will my dear little Osha ever bond with me?

Hi, I have cockatiel bird named Kiko and he's so much fun. I play with him so much and he's so cute. He loves to sing but he poops a lot when I let him out, especially on the carpet. I was thinking of training him or something, but I don't how. Any pointers...

    Hi,
I saw an ad for bird diapers. They go on their wings and come in different colors, sizes etc, I am sure if you look on line you will find them. Good luck!

Cockatiels can be noisy, males more than females, I have 4 right now and going to get my 5th tomorrow. I have Tweetie (yellow) Pauley (grey) who are my breeders, my 1st hatchling from the pair Baby (yellow) Nymph (white-face) which I adopted from a rescue, and going to get Holland (male white-face) tomorrow. Out of all them the only 2 that are noisy are Baby and Pauly. Bay is almost 1 year and says Baby's a pretty birdie and whistles that she's pretty, Pauly just whistles to Tweetie telling her she's Pretty. I love all my tiels very much but think White-faced tiels are the best looking.

I'm not sure how old my cockatiel is. . She's molting right now, I'm not sure if it is her first molt or not, so I'm not sure, but I think she's a girl. She has pearl markings, but no barring on the tail. Her tail does have dots and the tips of her tail feathers are black, though, and her cheek patches are a duller orange. She also doesn't make a lot of noise ( a whistle now and then). What do you think? boy or girl?
