I bought Whiskey at a pet shop and she would not go in the cage but sat on my shoulder for the drive home. She loves me to take her out in the car and especially to visit the old peoples home to see my Father. I now have a second one, grey this time, and he is talking and whistling tunes.

We received our white face in september, but we bought it in jully. he was too kiddy! we love him a lot. he is so funny. i always have him on my shoulder. he learned some funny song that i show to him. i really dont regret anything about my little Ozzy! that is his name. i have a budgie name Zeppelin and a cockatiel name Ozzy! and i think they will be a good team! my budgie is 4 years old and Ozzy was born the 5 june 2004.

I first got a tiel when I was 10 years old. His name was Buddy. A few months later he died from natural causes. I was so sad, but about 7 months later I got a call from a lady saying that she had no room for a cockatiel named Spaz. She asked me if I would take him otherwise he would need to be put down. I gladly accepted the offer of adopting Spaz not even being able to imagine the thought of him being put down. Spaz has been my faithful friend now for 4 years and I cant imagine life w/o him.

I have two cockatiels, one is a regular grey female and the other is a white face female. I love them both! I just received the white face about a week ago from a gentlemen that needed to get rid of them. My grey is about 2 years old while my white face is only 9-10 weeks old. And so far they are doing wonderful together. My older one treats the younger one likes she is her mother!! They are both GREAT birds.

I have a cocktail named hubert i got him in May 2004 he is the most loving and sweetest bird they bond like a magnet to you.I suggest that if you want a small bird it should be a cockateil.

Hi, My name is Eva. I have 2 Gray male cockatiels, Sonny & Star.
I just wanted everyone to know that they do make great pets. I am in the market for a female. The pet store told me that Star was a female when I bought him. He is a young bird, very sassy and talkative. I have taught him to whistle the "Oscar Meyer Weiner" song and whistles the intro to the old "Andy Griffith Show". He likes to give kisses and even says Thank You after. They are awesome pets.
There is one thing I do not like about my birdies, They bite when I try to get them back in the cage. Got any suggestions as to how to stop this? My fingers would love to know...

My new baby (White face) 13 weeks old, KIMARRI (Kim-are-ee) is so cute and sweet. I love cockatiels, I am so greatful for my bird.

I just purchased a lutino cockatiel a week ago. He is a male( a blood test was done on him) he is 3 months old. His name is "Chingy" and he is so precious. He eats from your hand and he loves to be kissed. He learned to whistle what I wanted him to in 3 short days. He is going to be a eaiser learner and I look forward to each day with him.

Got a beautiful baby Lutino 3 weeks ago and he is an absolute darling! He will walk around my neck preening my hair, nussle into my cheek and loves to be petted. I am allergic to animal fur and never thought I would be able to have a "loving" pet, but now I know I was wrong.
