i have a green naped rainbow lorikeet called billy,his original owner could not look after him,unfortunatly he has lost his feathers around his neck.he is such a lovely bird which as discribed as a clown does fit very well indeed.
his last owner visits him regulary and has him on his back and looks as if he is having his tummy tiggled,he has a lovely personality and says a few words.
very cool pet untill he bites lol.he also gives you kisses and loves to taste your tounge.

We have 10 budgies in total and they are now beggining to breed. They are keep in a flight type setting but no cage or bars they roam freely in our dinning room (well what was the dinning room). Nice tip for all of you out there thinking of breeding DO NOT WASTE MONEY ON WOODEN OR PLASTIC BREEDING BOXES!!!!! My girlfriend and I thought we would try cardboard boxes and guess what they work great, cheap and inexpensive, we have now had three successful pairs lay eggs and hatch to be beautiful young birds. So when it is time for you to breed remember this.

I have a severe macaw, Oscar. He is eight years old. I have had him since he was about two. I adopted him from a terrible situation. He lived in a cockatiel cage, so he was missing most of his tail feathers and he smelled like cigarette smoke. The first day that I visited him, he rolled on his back and was trying to regurgitate for me. Now that is love! In the six years that I have had him, I have switched him to pelleted food and now his feathers are amazing. He will not leave my side when I am home. He has a big cage and a huge tree that he spends most of his time on. His favorite toy is a large plastic linked chain. His favorite food is corn on the cob.

I have a pearl who laid an egg today, her first in 3 years!
I noticed that she was ignoring the egg and so my son and I decided that maybe we could incubate the egg by using odds and ends around the house. So well see what happens in about 22 days!

Parakeets are so beautiful! I have a boy and a girl, Tweety and Taz.
They always make me laugh! They are great pets and I would definatly get 1,000 more, but my dad says two is enough.

Williebird came to live with me about 3 years ago, after one of my best friends died. My life has not been the same since! She is a total chatterbox, which I love, I am mummy, the dog is called by her name, and the cat is called by her name. Intelligence is not enough of a discription about this species. I cannot imagine life without her now, and to think I was scared of birds before she came along! They are a lot of work, they need LOTS of attention, but worth every effort!!!!!

I have a wonderful bird. Her name Talahah. The birds color is blue,white, and yellow. Thats beautiful color, huh. I love her, and it takes a lot of care to have a pet. You need to feed them every day,and clean up their cage once a week.
