I love my parakeet. He is the sweetest bird that I have ever had. As soon as we brought him home he sat on my finger while I set up his cage. The cutest thing that he does is when we wake up he wants me to take the off towel that I use to cover the cage with at night. But then if I walk away and forget to open the blinds he will yell at me in a high pitch squaking sound telling me to open the blinds. As soon as I open them he stops and will start to sing gently like a happy bird. I just love that. I like to walk away and not open them on purpose just to kind of tease him and I think he likes that too. Parakeets are the best!

I own a grey tiel named Foster. I think hes a boy; he talks and whistles alot. He is about 6 years old, and a very good companion. Ive taught him to say prettty bird and whistle the charge song in baseball. These birds are intelligent and a great pet.

I have a cockatiel and he is just adorable. he gets in his own cage when he is hungry. He will kiss your lips because he loves you. he loves kids. He will make cute sounds too when his cage is open and he is still in there, he will wait until we come and get him. He will also sleep on us. When he gets left out because we go somewhere, as soon as we come home he will just start making sounds to great you.

I ve had a Red Bellied for almost 2 yrs and I love her. We named her Cleo and she is the best. She loves to say peekaboo and HEY GUYS. I would buy or adopt another one.

Hi I have a budgie named Nacho. He is a shy bird but cute. If you are getting a budgie, spend alot of time with it so it will trust you. I would recommend them to everyone since they are such nice and loving birds.

I have a Halfmoon Conure named Tequila and have found him (or her) to be a delightful friend. I would encourage anyone who is interested in this bird to think about adopting one-not as a pet but as a new family member!

I HAVE AN 8 MONTH OLD SUN NAMED BLAZE. HE IS VERY SOCIABLE AND LOVES TO CUDDLE AND NIBBLE ON EARS. STRANGELY ENOUGH, HE WILL NOT LET ANYONE STROKE OR TOUCH HIS BACK. HE WILL SQUACK LIKE YOU ARE HURTING HIM. HIS VOCABULARY CONSISTS OF THREE WORDS- HELLO, UH-OH, AND WHEN YOU CALL HIS NAME, HE WILL SAY HUH? HE IS A FUN PET AND WILL GO TO EVERY MEMBER OF MY FAMILY, EVEN MY 5 YEAR OLD, WHO IS HIS FAVORITE PERSON NEXT TO ME. THEY SAY THAT MOST SUNS TEND TO SCREAM, BUT MY BLAZE ONLY DOES 2 TIMES A DAY- EARLY MORNING AND AT BEDTIME. SUNS ARE WONDERFUL PETS, IF YOU GIVE THEM PROPER CARE AND ATTENTION.
