Temperments very greatly with these guys! Most are very subdued and just plain happy go lucky. I have 2 of these guys in my 90 gallon with several other fish, all MILDLY agressive. When first introduced to the tank they nipped at the fins of my angel, but after approximately a week, they left her alone. Some don't stop and do need to be placed in their own tank, but most will do very well in a comunity tank as long as the tank has fish agressive enough to set these little guys straight. Other than that, they are a very cute, fun, friendly, smart, and entertaining fish to care for. I personally would put their temperment in a class similar to an oscar, but of course on a much smaller size scale. I suggest anyone that wants an easy to care for, fun to watch fish, get at least one of these cuties.

We have 2 Green Spotted Puffers, not only are they cute and entertaining, but they are smart. They swim to me and play when I watch them and they know that they get fed morning and night. so as soon as they see me walk by to go to the kitchen to get their food, they are waiting for me when I come back. Awesome fish, I really hope to be able to breed them.

Best not to keep with larger puffers (5 cm+). I did that once and these little cuties were gobbled up by their bigger cousin daily! Also when I kept it in a comunity tank with guppies those puffers didn't live long. I must say it's really cute!

we have 3 green spotted puffers. they are adorable. they are so active and they really do keep us entertained for hours. one of them follows its reflection all over the aquarium. one of them also likes to play in the bubbles from the filter and the other one loves to play hide and seek. i am so happy with them. great purchase!!
