I have a Ryukin Goldfish and have had it for many years. For about a month now it stays in one corner of the tank on its back. It comes up and swims around and eats than sinks to its corner on its back again. Seems OK but stays on its back on the bottom of the tank. I have checked the water for PH, Amonia, Nitrate, Nitrites and all are in the correct range. So not sure of the problem.
Well yesterday i brought 3 fantails for my spongebob tank =]. I've decided to name them Dori, Nemo, and Becki (she made me name it after her you see). Although one of my fish is weird i think its a rare one. I'm not sure because both of its eyes are black and its body is white with blobs :O. I love my little fish very much, they make me laugh with their little mouths and they love spongebobs little bubbles. Im so happy to have a new fish in my lifee =D.
I Have 2 new fantails :]
They'r names are rosie and jim (Y) !
I have 5 fantails, they are cute looking and fun to touch.
I have 2 fantails called dick and warwick hunt. I love them dearly but they keep trying to mate constantly and interupt me watching tv, is it worth getting the male sterilised.
I have two fantails named Avery and Goliath. They are my lovers. I think Avery has a problem with his swim bladder because sometimes he floats around on the top and has trouble swimming. He's a trooper though. Love them.
I got 2 fannys, named Smooches and Splash the second. Smooches got his name for the fact that he loves to "kiss" the top of the water. At night or when it's quiet you can hear him making smoochie noises. Splash was named after my first regular goldie.
But Splash died a while after I got him. So Smooch got really upset. I'm thinking of getting him a small fishy companion.
Splash was solid white and Smoochi is a funny mix of white and orange. I don't know how to tell if he is male or female but I think "she" is about to spawn.
Smoochi is really cute! Luv him!
I think gilly is a cool name, great for a goldfish name.
I have just found a new interest in looking after fish. My first two fish are a white fantail with an orange spot on the head and the other is white with an orange back. I've named them SONNY and CHER.
I just got two fantail goldfish. Their names are Phil COllins, and Harold. I'm keeping both of them in a 4L tank but I don't think that's big enough, so I think I'll get a bigger tank. They're so cute, and getting used to living in their new home so quickly. Harold is white with an orange spot on his head, and Phil Collins is orange with a white tummy. =D
I loves my goldfishies.
