Justina - 2004-11-23 I love these fish however, I have had a hard time keeping them alive! I have had 5 of them. 2-Pac, Shorty, Busta, Spanky and Eminem. All of them died except Eminem. Em is about 4 inches long now and really fat. Its been about 1 and a half years now. People always comment on how ugly or cute or strange they look. I find them adorable !!!
majid ali - 2004-09-25 I have kept bubble eye fishes and strongly recommend them to all fishkeepers. They are fascinating fish and give plenty of enjoyment. Have only had two problems:
1. Acquiring different coloured species
2. Bladder problems which result in dropsy and swimming problems.
JOE AMICO - 2004-09-10 I LOVE MY BUBBLE EYE GOLDFISH IS SO PEACEFUL AND CUTE. I JUST FEEL BAD ABOUT HIM BECAUSE HIS EYE SACS WILL SOON MAKE HIM UNABLE TO SWIM. HOWEVER I HOPE HE ENJOYS SWIMING NOW BEFORE IT HAPPENS.
davanna - 2004-09-09 hi there i love bubble eye gold fish when i went into walmart, i saw one little bubble guy all alone.i fell in love with him. hes white and so cute his name is bubble but. now hes got a sore so i have been putting med it fix to help him. my orange one is called tropica. i love him too. he got caught in a filter the other day and i hope he will be ok.if your bubble guy has a hard time eating, get those sinking granulars. they are food that sinks to the bottom and the fish eat it. i love my bubble fish and dont want to lose them. they really got cute personalities on them and i am really attached to them. wish i could just pet them. the only place that sells them here is walmart. no pet stores, very rare here.
alexandra - 2004-08-26 My experience with Bubble-eyes is that the bubble does grow back after being deflated. Typically, it will turn black as a sign that it is healing.
Penny - 2004-08-16 Our bubble eye (Nemo) lives in our pond. He has gotten his bubble stuck in the string algae several times this year. The first time I had to just cut the string it was so tightly wrapped. His bubble turned black and then deflated. It is now back to normal, just a few weeks later and he is as cute as ever.
The Bubble Eye Goldfish is a truly bizarre looking fish with big bubbles on the side of its head!
the first time bought a bubble eye, it lived only for one month. it is really a hardy fish!

Lydia, to be honest swimming upsidedown is a sign of swim-bladder disease. It is NOT fatal, but I reccomend treatment.
Lee, You can get either flakes or frozen foods, both of these sink to bottom quite fast
