I bought my Black Moor, named Piglet, a month ago because I instantly fell in love with their cuteness. My Black Moor is very active and friendly, trailing behind my female fish wherever she swims in the tank. When I first brought him home, he ate a full algae tablet in less than 20 minutes once he found it. He chews his flake food, spits it out, and then eats it.

I have a blackmoor called squirt with 2 comets. they get along with each other and like to hide in the trees and decorations. Most of the time squirt swims near the top with his little tail waving around. the 2 comets swim down at the bottom, but sometimes squirt comes and joins in. They like to chase each other around the tank. Squirt is a beautiful fish and likes to follow my finger when i put it against the tank.

I recently bought three Black Moor - Google (one very protuding eye), Monkeyfish (coz he is cheeky) and Bob (who I have now renamed Pyscho Bob due to the incessant chasing of the other two fish). I am completely mesmerized by them, the television doesnt get a look in anymore!!

MY FRIEND GAVE ME SOME TYPE OF FRESH WATER SHARK A FEW MONTHS AGO. HE COULD FIT IN THE PALM OF YOUR HAND. SHE NEGLECTED TO FEED IT AND CHANGE ITS WATER FOR 2 MONTHS. THE SHOCK KILLED HIM WITHIN MINUTES AFTER I CLEANED HIS TANK. MY DAUGHTER WAS DEVASTATED, SO THE NEXT DAY WE WENT AND BOUGHT HER 3 GOLDFISH. ONE WAS A COMET GOLDFISH, A BLACK MOOR OF COURSE, AND A BRISTOL SHUBUNKIN. I NAMED THE BLACK MOOR RANON, HE EATS OUT OF YOUR HAND AND LETS YOU PET HIS HEAD. I KNOW HE IS A LITTLE FISH BUT I AM VERY ATTACHED. WE NAMED OUR OTHER FISH KATIE, CHALENDRA, AND OUR SUCKER FISH MADDOX. I AM GLAD THAT THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT LOVE THEIR LITTLE FISHES TO. BLUE MOORS ARE MY FAVORITE FISHES BY FAR.

I bought a Black Moor about 3 months ago and hes about 2 inches long. He has a strange habbit by floating to the top of the tank and gurgling water, its a bit strange. For some odd reason he likes to clean my rocks for me too. He will suck up one rock at a time, swish it around a bit and spit it out. its funny to watch him do this. Because he does this every five seconds, I named him Rocky.
