I have a black moor called Jet, and he has the breeding tubercles on his gills and on his front fins. He is in a tank with three goldfish, a chocolate fantail and a comet. I can't help but feel sorry for him!He might breed with my fantail but I doubt it!

Hi, I'm Tia and I won a fish at a recent birthday party. I don't really know exactly when to feed it and when to clean the tank. I went and searched on the net for more information cause i don't want it to die. Yeah, im kinda young but my father says that if i take good enough care of it then I will be able to get more. I named my fish Bell. It's pretty good so far. I don't know if it is a boy or girl. That's the only one I have so it is kinda lonely.

My boyfriend and I just bought Phil, our new Black Moor fish a few days ago. I must say that even though he's just a type of goldfish, he's one of the most interesting fish i have ever seen. The first day or two that he was in the tank, all the other fish kind of stayed away from him and he was all by himself. now i dont know if it was because of his big puffy eyes, his size, or just the fact that he was the "new guy". He's doing just fine now and is having lots of fun with everyone else in the tank.

I have loved blackmoors ever since i saw them many years ago. I have had my current one for over a year and have named him Finlay the second, as i have had one called finlay before. He is very entertaining and i keep him with loads of guppies (most are young from my female guppies0, 2 neon tetras, two white cloud minnows, and a sarasa comet whom he usually swims besides and the two chase each other playfully.
