Our bubble eye named Bubbles got sucked into the gravel cleaner and his bubble deflated and his eye looked like a black eye. It took awhile but the bubble grew back and is now the same as the other eye again. I can't even tell which eye was damaged, but he doesn't swim so close to my gravel washer anymore. These fish don't do well with other types of fish as they cannot compete for food, since they can't see or swim very well. Also I have had other fish that seemed to pick on him alot so he's got his own tank now.

I have had my Black Moor for some time now, and he has three very funny habits. first is he swims up to the filter, opens his mouth and gets pushed away...he does this for ages, second is he likes to feed swimming upside down and backwards along the bottom, and last but not least I have a bubble curtain and he swims into the curtain, fills his mouth with bubbles then swims away and blows bubbles. he is by far the most comical fish I have ever owned and I love him!

I've got a black moor named popeye. i got him about six weeks ago. his favorite food is sinking mini sticks. he's kind of shy and small,(that's why he hides in his castle a lot).

i have a 20 gal. tank w/ 2 beautiful fans one orange and white and a white one w/ solid black eyes. their tank mates are 2 black moores. they are so special to me. when i come in from a hard days work they perk right up. im not sure if it because of me or just that they know its time to eat. this weekend as all weekends i cleaned the tank i removed all the gravel and replaced it w/ glass marbles and stones. what really shocked me, this morning when i got up to feed them, they have pushed all the marbles to the back of the tank. click, click, click all night. i had to laugh, they sure are busy.

I have a black moor approprIately named 'google' :). I have had him for 4 years now, and he was only 1 inch when I brought him home to meet the family. Its great seeing him grow so huge - he is now 12 cm long and very chubby! LOL. He has out grown two previous tanks and because I love him so much I have upgraded my tank everytime so I dont have to sell him. I love black moors and they are so sociable beautiful looking fish, very theraputic to watch :)

We got our 2 black moor fish in March. They don't have real names. We just call them the fishes that make wishes. (I think they are wishing for names). One of the moor likes to sit at the bottom of the tank for 5 minutes at a time. It looks like he is sleeping but I don't know. I really like them and the other two regular style good fish we have. We feed all of our funny fishes regular flakes and sometimes pellets. One of our gold fish swam upsidedown once because the flakes made his air bladder funny. Anyway I really like those fishes of ours and they are not gross because of their eyes!

My name is Leah and i have four fantail goldfish. I got two to start off with and they are fine. I later got another two goldfish. One of those got dropped but i decided to keep it because it was so beautiful. That one is also fine. The other one i didn't really take much notice of but now it has bad eyes. I noticed when it was in the bag that it had BLUE EYES. I thought it was strange but ignored it. Now it has what looks like a thick foggy layer of mush and skin on its eyes. I hope i can fix this problem. My advise is when you pick your fishy friends out, check that they are healthy and fine.
