Ive had a banjo cat for maybe a year now, it lives with an oscar, and i have constantly thought that it was dead. It is a cool looking fish, but it does absolutly nothing.

I hope Misty has placed her Oranda in an aquarium or pond by now. If not it will not live long. Mine are 3 years old, happily living in a pond with koi and have reproduced once. The variety of colorations from this breeding has been amazing. Some may be part koi.

I never thought that I would be interested in goldfish because I had only ever had tropical fish in my two foot tank but when all of my tropical fish died due to fungus ( which they caught from the pet shop we bought them from only the day before) we went up to our local nursery to see what fish they supplied and then I saw the Bubble eyed goldfish I fell in love with them instantly and bought one to start of with we named it Bubbles (I know how original.)We have had bubbles for a month now and we are going to get two more to keep bubbles company. We love Bubble to bits because he has so much character and you need to look after them a bit more then the average gold fish.

Hi Everyone, I just got on June 8th a Black Moor named HERMIE and a orange and white Fantail named Elliott. (hope they are boys). I named them after 2 NASCAR racers. I have them in a 30 gal tank and it must be like a ocean to them since they are so small. I hope they like their new home. I have a Lion Head named PITSTOP that I got 7/1996 and I may add him to the tank. Thanks for a great site.

CAUTION : These fish are argrssive i have 12 in a 600L tank, with other fish species, they have physically harmed my other fish by beating/eating them until they die!:o even if the fish are TWICE as big as them. They are beautiful fish but in larger schools their behavor is brutal and lethal.

I have thirty gallon aquarium in which I have many assorted fish and amongst those are two fairly small pink kissing gouramis. The two kissing gouramis are very peaceful and fun to watch. One likes to "kiss" or rather suck on every glass surface, heater, or pebble it sees while the other just appears to be kissing the water. I highly recommend this fish for larger peaceful aquariums.

Guppies are an awesome, beautiful, hardy fish that are easy to breed. I breed guppies and they never fail to amaze me on how many new brilliant and vivid color patterns or mixes the new babies have. The guppy is a type of fish that is perfect for experts and newcomers into the aquarium hobby alike.

My red parrot is so nice, he lives with a redtail black shark, a silver shark, sword tails, black phantom tetras, black widow tetras, dwarf gouramis, kissing gouramis, siamese fighters, common plec, giant danio, american flagfish and angel fish and the tank is so peaceful. He has developed some black markings lately. He never bothers other fish but does like to be the only one at feeding times when he dives for the food. I feed him Veg flakes, Colour flakes, mixed live food, catfish pellets and cucumber just give something different every day. If i go to the tank he dives to the top thinking he is going to be fed. I would advise this fish and i have kept kribensis which is from the same family and they are not as nice but red parrot fish are so timid and friendly fish, a must for anyone with a large tank and places to hide.

Hello love the site. I have a Redtail catfish as well, he is quite big at almost 3 feet long. Hes the best fish I have ever owned and is very clever. He is like one of the family and eats allmost 90 Goldfish a month. Im going to start feeding him trout soon as well as fruit. Hes in a tank which is 6 foot long, 2 and a half wide, and 2 and a half deep but he seems happy for now.
