I finally found a place that is not sold out of archer fish and I am thinking of getting some. I would like to breed them but I hear it has never been done before. Some people think it is because they go to saltwater to spawn, I think they would go to freshwater, so maybe I could get a brackish tank with a few of these and slowly change the water to slat and let it stay for a while then slowly change it back to brackish wait awhile, then slowly change it to fresh then slowly change it back to brackish then repeat every 2 months until it works. Will this work?

    It might work.

Don't do that it will make the fish get diseases very easily. You can try but I can't make sure it works.

I have 2 knife fish (temporarily) in a 35 gallon, heavily planted tank. They will eat Hikari Massinvore Sinking Pellets, and when they are older (possibly) feeder fish. They are very peaceful and enjoy one another's company. They are a scaleless fish and should only have half the normal medication used for other fish.

I would be cautious about adding a crayfish. They have one desire... eating, and you have several bottom dwellers that will be easy snacks. Maybe keep the crayfish in its own tank.

I live in Indiana (Indianapolis area). I've got a 125 gal. tank. I have 2 med. sized Oscars. I am interested in the elec. Blue Jack Dempseys. I'd like to buy one or 2 large ones. Does anybody know where I can buy large ones either in a pet store or online? Thanks!

I have two community tanks and I have 4 kuhli loaches, two in one and two in the other. And in my main tank they come out all of the time but in my littler tank I hardly ever see them. They are gorgeous fish to keep and also they like to come out at night. These are lovely fish to have so I recommend you get these. If you know why my other khuli loaches don't come out please let me know?

Hi I have a blue dwarf gourami which was introduced in my aquarium where i had 2 clown loaches and a sword tail, black tail. i have noticed that the sword tail nips at him when i've put him in and since then is just hiding on the bottom of the tank. Later i've introduced another red gourami ,but his behaviour is still the same,he's not coming up for feeding is just eating plants. Is there anything i can do to help him to become more sociable? please help me

Just to let everyone know, i did successfully trim my Amazon Puffer's teeth. It's funny, they were shy of me before i did it and now they are always at the front of the tank when i look at them. It's like we've bonded lol

What can I say about rummy noses? what lovely fish they are and how nice they are to other fish and how they swim in shoals with their own and others. I used to have two but one died so he swims with my blood fin tetras and my neon tetras. I am going to get some more so he isn't on his own but he is fine at the moment. I do advise you to get these fish if you want a gorgeous tank.

I have 3 of these lovely black neon tetras and they are lovely and they are very placid fish. Mine eat quite well and they aren't shy, they don't come out all of the time most of the time they do. I am planning on getting some more so I recommend you get these fish in your tank.
