This plant is good for any enviroment and grows fast under a good light. I use pro-glo from Hagen for lighting and can watch it grow. This plant can grow an inch a day. Only have had this plant for about two weeks but all my mollies love this plant and will peck at it and its flowers.

I got 3 bunches of Anacharis last week and they are already growing to the top of my tank. when I got them they had mostly all brown leaves on them, now they are all green. it is a very good plant; hardy and pretty. I would definitely recommend this plant!

Actually this is not a true aquatic plant, but really a flood plant, meaning that it is used to being submerged for long periods. Expensive but strong and well loved by me.

there is no excuse not to grow this on a nice peice of bogwood. It can be a pain until it establishes its roots, because it may float around helplessly if not properly tied down. Many people also buy a plant, it entirely dies down to the root but new plants sprout from the dying leaves. this is normal. once established it is absolutely majestic, and will make even a new setup seem ageless. It grows fairly slowly, but once secure in its new setting, it can send out new extensions in all directions very quickly. java fern looks lovely next to anubias, which can also be grown on bogwood. every tank would benefit from this EASY to care for and very lovely plant.

Hornwort is a very attractive plant, which groups nicely. It grows readily, even under mildly unstable conditions (Dont use that as an excuse to abuse it). My only warning is dont place this in smaller tanks, because the spine-like leaves constantly fall off of the bottom stems, and grow on the top. The leaves float so are easily removed, but can clump up and slowly rot.

Im not exactly good with plants yet but i have had no problem raising this plant. They are not at all picky and will grow very fast in most conditions, and can easily grow 2, 3, or 4 times the length of your tank

This plant seems to need lots of light. In my tall narrow triangular tank it grew well at the front - I didnt know it has a few months dormancy and threw it out. i have re-purchased but its at the back in a dark corner and not doing well at all.

I remember always having anacharis in all the fish tanks we had when I was growing up. As a child, I worked in a neighborhood tropical fish store and remember that anacharis outsold all other plants many times over, mostly due to the hardiness of it. That was all in California.
I now live in Washington (State). I was shocked to find out that I couldnt buy anachris in the state of Washington as it was put on some list naming it a weed, and therefore is illegal to sell.
I have yet to find any plant that even comes close to it
