I have a toadstool and sometimes the appendages recede. Is this indicative of anything wrong?

I have2 Devils Finger Leather Corals, they are attached to 1 Live Rock. They have both grown substantially in the last Year. I leave plenty of room next to them. They are easy and are good looking. I had them in the back of the tank, but recently moved them to the center of the tank. They are still doing very well. I have read that they only grow three inches, but mine are at least 5 inches. They are a good Coral to have.

I love my little toadstool coral. I started my first big saltwater aquarium about 6 months ago, and this little coral was one of my first additions. It has now grown to a much larger size and has done very well in my tank. I would recommend this coral to any beginner reef aquarist.

This is a very easy to keep soft coral. It can come in a few different colours, right now I have 2 small yellow guys. They are very cute, the moment I saw it in the store I knew I had to have it. Very easy to feed, doesn't need lots of light, looks GREAT under actinic :). I recommend trying to find an aquacultured variety.

Best of luck.

I wish the fish stores would tell you some of the things that are on this web site. No one told us the toad stool was hard to keep or the same with the beta fish. This is a great web site for information. Now the key is to look up this info first. Kathy
