we had to get rid of our tiger barbs because they were tearing fins off other fish in the tank, especially the swordtails. they were attacking the other fish. we left them to see if they would settle down but when they killed a guppy we had to take them back to the shop.

I started out my fish tank with one gold gourami and three medium sized tinfoil barb fish, all relatively the same size by now. My little gold guy is peaceful enough, nobody bothers with him and vice versa. My flame dwarf fish, tetras, and bala shark all quite content with them.

Hello there. I am a 55 year old English Woman who does cat rescue.
I saved 6 adolescent guinea pigs who were being thrown out. I bought myself two cream boys. Trusting people to sex them, (I should have known better, and checked them myself) I now have 33 guinea pigs.
I have kept these delightful little creatures for years, and their amazing ability to be independent from day one never ceases to amaze me. How do they know the sound of the back door? Why can I never produce enough carrots? My Local Sainsburys think I am mad.

My first guinea pigs name was Cuddles. He lived about 5 years. I have another one now, and I called her Snuggles. Sometimes she gets shy and other times, she is hyper and full of energy. She eats almost constantly and starts squeaking as soon as she hears the fridge door open. GPs are so adorable and are a great pet because they are so friendly. Your site is great!

I have two dwarf hamsters. The bigger one named "Digger" is white and my other the smaller one is named "Chewy" and is gray. They are both realy cute and are very easy to take care of. I recommend to have an exersize ball. I also recommend to give them something to chew on otherwise they chew out of a plastic cage and make very annoying sounds on a metal cage.

I have had three hamsters, all of them golden hamsters. Today I got another hammy but this one is a teddy bear. Its name is Tinkerbell and I am already in love with it. Hammies are great! Thanx

Sexing devilfish is easy. The males have a yellow tail - not as pronounced as a yellow-tail damsel, it is a gradual change that begins about halfway down the tail. Both male and female have a black dot on the dorsal fin, which is an easy way to verify that you are getting a male devil and not a yellow-tail.
