Mini Lops are kind and sweet. But you must handle them gently
because, like all rabbits, they are fragile! Mini Lops have long ears and soft fur. They can come in all different colors. You may see your Mini Lop leap in midair and do numerous twists.
Do not worry about this because this is an expression of happiness.
It is called a binky. Mini Lops can jump very high, so be very cautious when you put them in low places with no ceilings! Despite all their troubles, these rabbits can be very loving creatures. They
are quiet and love timothy diet hay. Mini Lops are an excellent choice as a pet. Good luck to all you new rabbit owners!!

I have a little bookshelf tank around 2-3 gal. I just put one eater in and in one day has cleaned every bit of algae off of everything! He is very very active and likes to swim in circles. this is by far one of the most fun fish I have to watch!

I have kept bubble eye fishes and strongly recommend them to all fishkeepers. They are fascinating fish and give plenty of enjoyment. Have only had two problems:

1. Acquiring different coloured species

2. Bladder problems which result in dropsy and swimming problems.

I have a Nanday Conure called Toby. I got him from an old lady who didnt want to give him away but had to because she couldnt let him out of his cage because of her dog. he is always coming out of his cage nowadays and he loves to go outside and sit with me in my aviary.

Rabbits are not "great for children". Children are often loud and rough with their pets. Rabbits are prey animals and this type of treatment terrifies them. In addition, too many people get their children rabbits as "starter pets" assuming their child will take care of it not realizing that rabbits live between 8-12 years. This means that the parent will be taking care of the rabbit when the child has gone to college. Also once the novelty wears off and the child loses interests, often the parents do not want to take on the responsibility and they either dump the rabbit on a local shelter where it will probably be euthanized or dump it at a local park or golf course where it will be the meal of a dog, cat, coyote or some other animal because domestic rabbits are not prepared to survive in the wild.

I have 3 wild raccoons that visit me every night. I give them bread and sometimes teddy grahams. My favorite is "Sweatheart". We have built a trust over several months of visits. I will place a piece of bread on my knee (while sitting) and she will reach up and take it with her paws. she then will sit next to me while I scratch her back and neck (She really enjoys this). When she is done she will go on top of my house for a rest. I know that they are wild and not pets, and I take several precautions when I have my visitations. However I would not change this for the world they are quite gentle and curious creatures.

We got "Cocoa Fluff" a number of years ago now......he has to be at least 4 years old. My son wanted a bunny for Easter SO BADLY!! I thought, "what am I getting myself into now....." Of course, who is so attached to the little guy now that my son is a teenager and has to be reminded constantly to give the poor baby food and water..........ME.........THE MOM!!! I have been through two expensive episodes with him staying at the vet and having surgery and I fuss over him like the baby of the family. His favorite treat? Bananas, like I noticed someone else wrote.......he goes crazy for them.......likes to eat them right out of the peel while you hold it for him....like a monkey! I only wish he was less nervous with people, but, when relaxed, he will lie down and watch TV with us......
