Hi. I have had a New Zealand White buck.It was the most wonderful experience! He could allow me to do anything to him, it was like having a dog and a cat at the same time, but even better!
People usually do not know much about rabbits and assume they are pretty stupid. In fact, rabbits, expecially New Zealand bunnies, are full of big surprizes that are yet to be discovered, although we all who have pet bunnies know better than anybody else what a wonderful,loving,funny, and very intelligent a bunny can be as a pet.
If this is your first time, go with a New Zealand baby: besides ruby eyes, thick fur, and adorable ears, you will discover a big bunny to wrap your arms around, and you may find yourself one very special day being trapped by this creature nose to nose with you, breathing peacefully and that is one of the most plesurable experiences you can ever have! In addition, The New Zealand is a greatfull creature and a very generous kisser, which makes him totally irresistable. The only problem with this bun is after he is gone, you can hardly find a replacement for it is impossible to replace a friend, and a friend is a true word for a bunny like that!

Hi my names Taralynn and i just LOVE guinea pigs. Through my whole life i have had 9 guinea pigs. When we got are 6th guinea pig named nibbles my cuison came along and she liked them so much she got 2 herself. She really liked them so over time she got lots of guinea pigs. Last week 4 of them died so now she only has 19 guinea pigs. Your site was very useful for her and me tanx. I LOVE GUINEAS

LUCY I hear ya sister. ive had three suckers climb out of my 10 gallon tank through a 4x1 inch space. what happened in my other experiences. more catastophe- it sucked the scales off of its tank mate- wounds which quickly festered and grew fungus and the fish died. After killing all my other fish- the little demon climbed through the tank and on to the hood, right next to the light switch. The image of its dried out body practicaly mocking me still haunts me today.

Snail-mishaps - 2004-01-20
My dear friends, excellent oxygenator- will adapt to warm or cold water and can even tolerate small amounts of salt, but contrary to common belief, WIlL BE EATEN BY POND AND RAMSHORN SNAILS. If you havent already screwed up by getting snails -DONT. I started with ONE snail and now have over 300- (yes they can procreate by themselves)

Vickie those are mislabled often as the cam. hamsters. They are called the Winter Whites.... they change colors in the Summer.. depending on how much light they get.. they can turn gray/brown to snowy bright white. Many times they are overpriced and mislabled to make it sound like special hamsters. For exmaple teddy bear hamsters are really long-haired syrians.

I have 4 English Spot rabbits and one dutch male, and I have to say the dutch rabbit is much friendlier and good natured, all my rabbits are wonderful but the dutch rabbits do tend to have a good all round temperament and are very loving.

I just got my daughters 2 budgies. A white one named Uno and a blue one they named Moto. You know, like Hello Moto. They are anxious to get them settled in.

My Ginny doesnt have a dramatic rescue story or an amazing future or past. She is just your common pet guinea pig, or so she seems to those who dont look closely enough. Her personality is different than that of which the vet described to me. He said that guinea pigs (or cavies) tend to live a blobby and cute existance, but he never said how they seem to know exactly how much cuddling you need and just the right way to make you laugh with their silly antics. Once when my dog ate several chocolate chip cookies, I was afraid she was going to die and ran away to my room to wallow in my misery. Then Ginny squealed at me until I took her out and cuddled and ran around until I was laughing hysterically. Guinea pigs will ultimately change your life, even if some people say they are dumb animals (not me!!!).

I have a Teddy Bear hamster. He is really cute. A few days ago he got lost in my basement!!! My basement is really messy. Luckily I found him under a desk. That night I cleaned him and guess what he had stored in his in his pouch. He had 3 christmas bulbs, a piece of plastic, a piece of Lego and a marble!!!
