'friend ' named Popeye . She is my best friend and loyal companion . BUDGIES ARE GREAT!!!

I have two mini-lops and they are sisters. My one is called Snuffles and my sisters is called Thumper. They are so cute and both love a cuddle any time! They are such adorable rabbits because they stay quite small and have really droopy ears!

I have two platys in a 20 gallon tank along with 12 other fish.The platys will stay to themselves out in the open water and are great community fish. For fun they will chase each other around without nipping fins. They are very colorful and come in many different shapes and sizes. They should be kept in tanks with tempuratures between 72-78 degrese. They will eat everything such as flakes, tablets, and live, but I suggest flakes and maybe live as a treat. Overall I think platies are community fish that can be kept,in a tank with almost any other types of fish because they are so peaceful.

I am new to the bird world. It began the day a very brave and tough little female parakeet, who survived being outside from September 2003, until January 22, 2004, was too cold...too tired to feed at our wild bird feeder. We had tried many times during that time frame to catch her...she would have NO part in it. She seemed to love her freedom. When we brought her in, her left foot was black from frostbite...her right foot red and swollen. Within a day or two she lost her left foot. The circulation in her right foot was damaged too and her foot began to darken with gangrene.

Even throughout the loss of her feet, she continued to thrive inspite of the obvious discomfort. I live in the Chicago area and anyone who knows the kind of weather we had this year will think she is a miracle. Her will to live and survive the sub-zero weather here in January, only proved she was well worth the effort to make comfortable until her dying day. This tough little bird has managed to adjust to a life without her feet (they were frostbit beyond repair by the time we could finally catch her). Through trial and error, we have found a way to make her a happy and comfortable bird in her modified cage.

Her chirps and singing in the morning is music to my ears. As she continues to adjust to a footless life, we will continue to expand her horizons to a more normal existence. For now, she seems content to be in the cage. No, she cannot walk but she has figured out that she can hop from spot to spot by propelling herself with the bottom part of her legs.

We have a girl Rainbow Lorikeet that we got suddenly and knew nothing about pet birds at all!She is a sweetie that plays soccer on the floor with a cat ball with a bell (but no catnip) in it and loves to give kisses and take noisy,splashy baths in a pyrex brownie pan.She even said my name after 3 days with us!She is so funny when she plays she could get Frankenstein out of a bad mood.I love her so much and never knew what I was missing until she came our way.We still have to think of a girl name for her because we thought she was a he until the DNA results came in last week. Princess would be appropriate,LOL.

Mini lop rabbits are just so fun! I have two (boy and a girl). Their names are Hanzel and Gretal. They live outside in cages. I put them outside in their fence or in the house somtimes. Its so funny to watch them too. They are great pets!

well.. i have been keeping mine for like about 5 years and it is about three feet now.. i bought it on my birthday, but anyway this fish is not so hard to care for as long as you got space for this fish. And also this fish grows really fast. My fish got into one and half feet in less than one year when i first bought it. in addition you can also train this fish to eat pellets because mine do. But it is easier to train your fish when it is still a baby fish, once the fish get big, it is really hard to change their diet.
well, this is what i feed my fish: pellets, feederfishes, insects (crickets), shrimps, pawns, beef heart, chicken meat...etc well my fish, my "dragon" just eats about anything that is meaty.
O yea, really important at nite, remember to cover your fish tank really tight and have something heavy to put on top of the cover; because this fish can jump really high and it is a very powerful jumper.
okay guys, have fun keeping with your "dragon" fish because they are really interesting and fun to keep and watch.
